Old xbox 360...not sure what to do Posted: 02 Jan 2021 11:42 AM PST Hello all, I'm new to this community so apologize in advance if I'm breaking any rules... I have an old xbox 360 console that's been gathering dust for about 5 years. I tried plugging it in recently and the controller works, but the console itself doesn't turn on and seems to be dead. I was about to throw it in the trash, but figured I'd check if it has any remaining value to any dedicated gamers out there. Thanks and happy new year! Edit: I just gave it another try, and it turned on but it's stuck on the opening xbox 360 logo. Thinking it's a dud but would be happy to hear otherwise. [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Jan 2021 04:09 AM PST My friend just gave me their old xbox 360 and a bunch of games and even though this is an old console - I've personally never really had experience with consoles past Playstation 2 (!), so this is still pretty new to me. Excited to dive in and finally play all the things I missed out on over the last 10+ years! That said, I'm just wondering if there are any benefits to wiping/factory resetting it, or doesn't it really matter? The hard drive seems pretty empty from what I can tell (there's a couple of demos downloaded) but that's it. And he still has a profile set up. So far I've just created another profile for myself and have started in on Alan Wake (really enjoying it!). But yeah, before I dive in too much more, I'm just wondering ... Should I wipe it all and start fresh (and if so, what are the benefits if any to doing that?). [link] [comments]

Xbox 360 Wireless controller for PC Posted: 02 Jan 2021 09:10 AM PST I have never done it before so I am a little confused. I wanna play games on my PC using the Xbox 360 controller and I want to use a wired cable. Can anyone tell me if it is possible and what and all do I have to buy to make it possible?
