    Hey r/xboxone,

    After some feedback from the community and talking amongst ourselves, we have decided it is high time to open up mod applications again and get some fresh meat in here. So if you are looking for an unpaid job that never thanks you, then you came to the right spot.

    There are a few things we are looking for in these applications.

    • Being on reddit (a lot)

    We are not asking you to be on for 8 hours every day, but more so of people who are on reddit at least most of the week.

    • Auto mod experience

      This one isn't a deal breaker, but if you do know auto mod then it will increase your chances. We need to re-tune it into a mean, cold hearted robot machine that fights the spam.

    • Will use Slack

    There is no wiggle room on this one, we need you to be able to use Slack in order to communicate with the rest of the mods. Why don't we use Discord you ask? Apply and you might find out.

    • Lives across the pond (Europe)

    If you have noticed that our modding slows down when its night in the US, that's no coincidence. We need more hands on deck for the hours when I am sitting in bed watching The Office for the 20th time.

    And that is pretty much it. Of course there is the normal stuff like have a good history on the sub (and reddit) plus having moderator experience in a different sub helps, but you guys know all that already. So if you feel that you have what it takes, filll out the application here and hope for the best! Can't wait to see your guys responses!

    Hey, I have a question for you. XSX and PS5 are very expensive in my country, so I'm left with either series S or last gen. But no disc drive is a deal breaker for me. Should I go with the Xbox one X with gamepass? Plus xbox CD's are very cheap in my country (for example I can get red dead redemption 2 for $9.99) I have an original ps4 currently, and it has a busted disc drive and fan noises are extremely loud.

    So for the past week or so I've been arguing with my Xbox about these updates it's trying to do. It started with the community events page trying to update, then the store, and now the "store experience host." I've been trying endlessly to get them to update but nothings working and it keeps telling me that I need to free up less than a gig of internal storage (despite me literally having 20+ gigs and deleteing over 5 games from internal) Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    tldr: Xbox won't update community events, store, and store experience host cause I need internal storage freed up despite having multiple gigs free already

    Xbox One doesn't support my Samsung K850 Dolby Atmos soundbar?

    I have the original Xbox One and today I connected a Samsung K850 to it. I get audio fine with ARC and have HDMI IN for picture and HDMI OUT for the other HDMI cable that is connected to the soundbar itself. Downloaded the Dolby Atmos Xbox app and it gave me an error saying my soundbar system doesn't support Dolby Atmos which it does. Am I doing something wrong or does the OG Xbox One not support it?
