    For those complaining about lack of warranty on new controllers, consider buying from best buy with the geek squad replacement.

    Obviously yes, the quality issues are a massive problem and Microsoft needs to do more, and yes the 90 day warranty is bullshit. But right now that's what things are and we have to deal with it.

    Every controller I have bought since I got my 360 I've bought through best buy with the replacement plan and when it eventually goes bad within those two years, I walk into the store, tell them it's bad, and walk out with a brand new controller for just the cost of the replacement plan on the new controller.

    So instead of paying $60-$70 every time, it's $10-$20 (it's gone up in price a lot). I've done this same thing for the crap 360/XB1 headsets, and lots of other electronics like this.

    My EliteV1 that went to shit? Same thing. Walked in, walked out with a new one just the cost of the new protection plan and then upgraded that second EliteV1 to the EliteV2. And my Elitev2 already has issues and I'm hoping there will be a V3 before it's plan expires.

    Obviously this won't work for everyone and yeah it's Microsoft's fault that there are so many quality issues but I just wanted to at least share an option for you guys that seem to be so unlucky that every controller you touch gets issues within a year of ownership.
