- The weirdest thing just happened my xbox 360 s it scratched line into my disk. It was making a loud noise and my brother said it was probably because it was vertically so he flipped it horizontally then it made a weird grinding noise.

I have and love: Skyrim, oblivion, fallout 3, fallout new Vegas, GTAV, red dead redemption, and bioshock. I like games with big open worlds and interesting stories, as well as simulations. I will order longer cables for the disc drive e.ct so I can properly space everything around. But do any of you have any advice on this? And anything I might run into..... I noticed that on some, if not most, 360 games I have tend to make the disc drive loud if they are not installed on the HDD. Like a vibrating type of noise? Now of course problem is solved if I installed the game into the HDD. My original Xbox games don't make the disc drive loud when I play them. So I have 5 different controllers that I have picked up over the last few years. I use a mix of AA batteries and some rechargeable battery packs that came with a charging a stand an an official charge and play battery which is dead and the cable. I have recently wanted to start playing some games which were highly recommended to play with controller so i bought a cable for my controller to my computer. The thing is, when i connect my controller to the pc, i hear it connect but after that nothing happens. It doesn't show up anywhere nor does it light up. I still have our old xbox360 and while going through it I noticed there's hundreds of photos saved on the hard drive. I know that I can't just move the file to pc and have it be png or jpeg, are there still any conversion programs that work? Feel free to ask any questions and I'll try and give more info.
