| Why I still prefer the Xbox 360 Posted: 04 Jan 2021 05:35 PM PST I have an Xbox one, and I love the console itself, but I've never grown to it as much as the Xbox 360. For starters, the personality is amazing on the 360. The design (original and slim not so much e) resemble a unique and modern/futuristic design. The Xbox one looks like a box. When you open your 360 you are greeted to an amazing intro screen; then you pick your account, but it's so cool how you get to see these mii like characters on your screen. I could keep going but I'm sure you can think of more obvious ones that I didn't mention. And the library of games are amazing. The Xbox one has a great library too but nothing beats the 360 and ps3 game lineup imo [link] [comments] | ||

Went with PS3 cuz of my best friend being a PS3 fanboy, free online and thinking I would use it for Blu Ray movies. Well 10 years later, I'm on Xbox again with a Series X. I had a 360 and a few Xbox One models as well but was PlayStation was my home. Now you might say it's pointless to get a 360 cuz I have a Series X but I would love one either way. I actually still have one that won't work anymore. Don't get the three red lights but still get one or two red lights and an error message. It's the Halo 3 edition. | Posted: 04 Jan 2021 06:15 PM PST hey so my left (joystick? thumbstick? idk the term) has been drifting to the right, but its not a standard consistent drift. it jitters about only when the stick is touched, but always pushes an inconsistent amount to the right when its happening. the issue comes and goes, sometimes not being an issue at all and at others making things unplayable. it IS a knockoff controller, but I figure the hardware and software should all be similar enough that you guys may have some advice. ive tried calibration and while it seemed to work the first time, it hasnt since then. both steam and windows calibration. | Question about Xbox 360 online store, from someone not familiar with Xbox. Posted: 04 Jan 2021 04:12 PM PST Background: I've recently played Persona 4: Golden on my Vita and I've been looking to continue the story. There are two fighting sequels to the game—Arena and Area:Ultimax for 360 and PS3. I've not had an Xbox 360 before, but my girlfriend has one. Question: The physical games are okay-priced, but I had a question about the online store (marketplace?). My girlfriend has never used it, and I am not with the system at this time to check it. So, my question—does it still work to download games? Because if what I'm reading elsewhere is correct, I might be able to buy only the second game that I want, and download the story of the first as DLC—which is a much better deal than buying both physical games. Potential issue: This is a NA 360 system, plays NTSC games, but it is in Brazil. Not sure if that would matter for any potential downloads. She does have an online ID, as she has played GTA5 online a long time ago. Not sure if that's the same thing I'd need for the store or not. Bottom Line: Main thing is I just don't know how things work and am checking to see if this can work. I have googled the marketplace on my phone, and I do see the game there, along with the DLC I would want. But not sure of the actual system itself. So, any tips would be helpful. Thanks! It has quite a few great games installed on the hard drive, but since they are the previous owners, I can't transfer them. When it finally red rings, can I just put the hard drive in another fat xbox 360 and the games will work, or will I lose access to them forever? [link] [comments] |
