    First off, I have been a PS only guy since PS1, and made the switch to my first xbox, the series X.

    I tried Gears, Halo, all good and fun games...and the typical Fortnite and Warzone, same ol from PS4, yet still fun.

    Then I download Forza Horizon 4. I wasn't expecting much, but kept hearing good things about it. I never liked car games, or racing games in general. But holy shit this game is addicting. The environment, the music, the customization. It's almost too much. This is currently taking up most of my gaming time. Just thought I'd share this pleasant surprise.

    Has anyone seen this before? I was planning on upgrading 3 years of Gold for $1 but have to wait until January 31st as to not go over the 36-month maximum. I am worried about the deal going away and not getting as good of a deal.

    My captures continue being too dark! Any way to fix it?

    Since I acquired my Xbox Series S my captures in certain games (HDR) have been way too dark. However, recently I asked in a group I am part if MS has been doing something to fix, and one of the users there said they already fixed it.

    Strangely enough, I have had this week some of my captures to be recorded alright in MK11, but 90% of the time I record something it continues dark.

    Is there any solution for it? Is MS aware?

    I remember reading it in MS support page "Known Issues on Xbox Series X|S" and it's not listed there anymore.

    Xbox One X issue

    Console boots up fine, but there is a grey screen on one of my monitors. I have tested it with other devices and the home screen works fine. I know it isn't a monitor or cable issue because it will connect to my computer via HDMI, and my xbox just will not show any screen data, the only data I get is audio, on that specific monitor.

    Hi guys, recently I noticed that when I went to gamertag a while back I made a spelling error. I wanted to know if there was a way I'd be able to reach out to Microsoft and have that changed without having to pay $10. I only need to change one letter and I really would like to not pay $10 for one letter. If you guys could help that'd be great!

    1080p or 4K UHD on Series S?

    I recently picked up an Xbox series S and have a tv that is capable of 4k UHD, but the refresh rate does not achieve 120Hz, and I am missing many of the features in the '4k Tv details' section so I assume my tv isn't top notch. I do not have any option allowing me to change the refresh rate; all I get is the option of 720p, 1080p, and 4k UHD resolutions.

    I was wondering if there is any difference in performance between 1080p and 4k. I did some personal testing and it seems as though the former runs at a higher FPS and I have not noticed any significant difference in visual quality between the two, but it's honestly really hard to tell without an FPS counter. I'm used to PC gaming on a shitty old Dell monitor at 59Hz at 1080p with fairly steady 60fps and I'm very new to all of this 4k stuff and newer generation consoles in general.

    Does the Series S upscale 1080p to 1440p, or do I need to select the 4k option to have it upscale? I understand that the series S does not achieve 'true 4k' and upscales instead, but I'm not quite sure how I should configure my settings to best exploit the hardware. This is all very confusing to me. I'm sorry if all of this sounds really stupid and doesn't make sense because I'm really not clear on how this upscaling and 4k stuff works. Any help or clarification would be greatly appreciated.

    I was playing Call of Duty Cold War on my Xbox series x and while I’m creating a class my screen turned into a bunch of coloured pixels and after a few minutes my whole screen turned black and I couldn’t do anything but unplug the console. What happened?
