    To celebrate the upcoming launch of Planet Coaster: Console Edition and the Xbox Series X|S, the folks over at Frontier approached us to create this incredible giveaway. You may have noticed our make-over on the Xbox subreddits, and that's to celebrate this giveaway! There are a total of three grand prizes, which include an Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S AND Xbox One X. There will also be copies of Planet Coaster: Console Edition to win as well!

    Prizing has generously been supplied by Frontier. You can check out the full prize pool below that is up for grabs!

    • 1x - Xbox Series X + 1x Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 + Copy of Planet Coaster: Deluxe Edition

    Ok, so how do I enter and win?!

    1. Answer this simple question: "What will you name your first park in Planet Coaster: Console Edition?"

    2. Submit your park name in this thread as a top-level comment, not a reply to another comment on this thread (you'll find this on /r/xboxone /r/xbox and /r/xboxseriesx).

    3. The winner will be chosen at random from eligible entries, so everyone can enter and has a chance to win.

    The technical bits

    • ENTRIES CLOSE FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20

    • The winner will be announced on 23 November.

    • One entry per person

    • If your park name is offensive, NSFW or violates any of the r/xbox rules it will be disqualified

    • The prizes are provided by Frontier. The moderation team is not responsible beyond picking the winner. Frontier will be responsible for sending the prizes.

    • The contest is open to the US, UK and Europe only.

    • Members of the moderation team, anyone who works at Frontier and their families are excluded from the competition.

    Got My Series X Shipping Notification from the Microsoft Store

    Looks like Microsoft is starting to ship out the preorders. I got a Fedex shipping notification from the Microsoft Store at 9:52AM with a scheduled delivery of the 10th. I can't wait this is the first time I've managed to get a new console on release day. Interestingly there's a future delivery request on the order so it looks like Fedex won't be delivering it early no matter what.

    Game Pass is the greatest thing to ever happen to gaming and has given me a new appreciation for Xbox 1st party games

    I have owned an Xbox since the OG, but really only played Halo, a little bit of Gears, and predominantly multi-platform games on my Xbox, because I've always been a bigger Nintendo fan. This is how it had always been, until Covid. My roommate convinced me to go back in on Game Pass, and I cannot say enough good things about it. Game Pass has allowed me to gain a love and deeper appreciation for Gears, get hooked on State of Decay, learn to love the masterpiece that is Hellblade, and realize that I really do enjoy Forza. I cannot wait to try other series that I neglected like Psychonauts and Ori as well as get deeper into Bethesda's catalogue. I hope that Nintendo or Sony embrace this type of game model because this makes me as excited as the first time that I walked into GameStop with a little bit of pocket money and feel like the world is truly open again.
