| Xbox Series X and Series S Review Megathread Posted: 05 Nov 2020 01:07 PM PST Hey r/xboxone, As you all know, the embargo for the Xbox Series X and Series S has been lifted, so reviews are up from all the major sites (I.E. IGN, Gamespot, etc). To help make sure conversation isn't splintered between different posts and not flood the front page, we're making this megathread so you can have all the reviews in one easy spot. If we are missing a review from a major site/channel (and no your cousins tech channel with 20k subs doesn't count) let us know and we'll add it. We are only rougly 4 days away everyone! They hype train has left the station and we are full speed ahead for the next generation of Xbox. Now onto the reviews!
Remember, if I missed any notable channels or sites, let me know and I'll add them in. Looks legit but obviously it's not. Amazon or any legit business wouldn't ask for this. So be careful not to fall for it. | Xbox app letting me "pre" install games huge thank you Posted: 05 Nov 2020 11:23 AM PST Just wanted to say how awesome it is to be able to install and update a game without putting the disk into the console my son (3) has a surgery tomorrow and is going to be put under general Anastacia (probably the wrong word) but he loves lego games and the marvel hero's. I got the collection of games from Walmart (lego marvel super hero's 1&2 and the avengers)and I am so happy to be able to give it to him brand new in packaging and still ready to play as soon as he is ready. I know at 3 he probably can't tell the difference between a game with the new game shrink wrap and an already opened game, but as a gamer who got almost exclusively used games my whole childhood it means a lot to me. Evem at Christmas of the game was available used that was the copy i would get.. And I know he would hate having to wait for them to install and update before he can play them.
