    Anyone else who's like me and never upgrades to new consoles right at series launch? I had to walk away and take a serious break from xbox one and series S/X subreddit since moderators allow the same post 500 times an hour lol. People all posting things like " 4 days 6 hours and 4 minutes to my console arriving" or "what game are you gonna play when it first arrives?" I dunno i guess im old school. And wow this gen has money to burn I guess the economy is pretty good everywhere?

    I have an og xbox, 360 and Xbox one X and i love gaming but is it just me or do people seem to just want the next shiny thing for the sake of having it too? With the xbox 360 at launch, i kinda get wanting one asap (as i did too) but that was a revolutionary changeover for gaming imo with updates to xbox live and insane launch titles so there were MAJOR updates from og xbox. But this console update offers very very little updates right away other than graphics improvement at launch....

    So i came back to my favorite subreddits: this one, patient gamers and ogxbox. Simpler, relaxed people enjoying older consoles and not entering the manic void of endless posts all the same about the new consoles. I will get a Series X someday too but i don't need it on launch day either. Anyone else find it crazy or is it just me? I would love your input.

    P. S. Im a 42 yo guy and i have a young brain so i promise i am young at heart still!! I live life like im 25 lol

    Haven’t played since it originally released on Xbox. Excited to revisit it - this and Ninja Gaiden Black got me through my hurricane Katrina exile!

    I've got a 2008 Xbox 360 Fat, it worked about a year ago when i bought it, got a little use, then was unplugged. Went to plug it up tonight and when connected to power the Fans go full blast and the console refuses to power up.

    Any ideas?

    Controller Recommendations

    I simply need to upgrade my 360 controller, obviously New condition doesn't exist, so I'm looking for a good option. I assume every controller from GameStop will be busted in some way. I saw one Walmart "Certified refurbished" but I don't know if it's trust worthy for $40 lol Any suggestions?

    Or how do you guys go about finding decent 360 controllers?

    Can't download crackdown 2

    A few hours ago I found out (on this subreddit lol) that crackdown and crackdown 2 are free. I have crackdown with all the DLCs but crackdown 2 is giving me a hard time. I am trying to download it on my xbox 360 and it gives me error code 80150017. Sometimes it also said "Your credit card info couldn't be retrieved." What do I do? This is driving me mad, a free game I can't download

    Just got an XBOX 360 ! Any steering wheels w/ 3 pedals?

    I'm in!! Late but never the less. Never owned an xbox until recently my friend gave me his while about to toss it. I said GIVE IT TO ME! It came with a Kinect and I recently bought several kinect games off eBay for dirt cheap and am loving it! I like more interactive experiences when it comes to games than just holding the standard controller.
    I'm looking to get some racing games. Are there good steering wheels out there that is somewhat realistic that has 3 pedals and a gear box for the 360? Its definitely more fun shifting gears racing with your feet than holding a controller, having 2 pedals don't cut it for me. I've seen the thrust master and logitech ones but it has only 2 pedals, and the new logitech g920 seems to be for newer xbox and pc. Not the 360.
