| Posted: 11 Feb 2022 02:55 AM PST Just bought the new Xbox series x and don't quite understand the "general video modes" setting, for example apex legends looks completely normal and other games such as fifa 22 I have to enable ycc 422 to make the colours normal, games such as destiny 2 or ac Valhalla I have to turn HDR10 off, I mean they look great with it on but the colours are kinda strange, it's hard to explain unless you know what I mean, some colours are a little too dark, some a little too light, like it's washed, is it suppose to be like that or do I need some sort of setting? Or just get a new one Posted: 10 Feb 2022 04:35 PM PST So the 360 I have now turns itself off every time I plug in the hdmi cord, and I replaced the power supply thinking that it was the problem. After getting the new one I hooked it up with my hdmi unplugged and it turned on and ran fine, but as soon as the hdmi got plugged in it shut off. Anyone know if I could fix it? | Elite Series 2 controller has trouble reconnecting on PC Posted: 10 Feb 2022 04:58 PM PST I just got the Elite Series 2 controller yesterday and I have noticed that everytime I unplug the USB C cable to connect it to my PC it won't reconnect to bluetooth. I have to remove it from my connected bluetooth devices and re-ad it everytime. Its kinda annoying and I was wondering if there was a fix to this. I have tried turning it on and off but that doesnt work. Also going into pairing mode wont help. I have previously used a PS4 controller which never had any issues reconnecting. Well I've been having problems where I will try to talk to my friends in a party chat and I can't hear them or talk to them. It did this throughout the day randomly and I don't think it's the headset because I hear the game and CAN send voice messages. Now it's not fixing itself and I don't know what to do. I am currently away from home and will be for a couple of months without any console or windows pc, so I was considering XCloud as the best gaming alternative for me at least for the time being. I would be playing either on my macbook air m1, my ipad or my iphone, and after doing some research I found out that the service should work about fine (I have a college connection going with 120down 130up and 5ms ping, not sure if 5ghz tho), however what concerns me the most is the controller input lag. Which controller would you recommend the most? I am strongly leaning towards the official xbox controller but, in order to update it, I need a windows device and I'm not really sure I would be able to find one as easily. What are your controller recommendations? And also do you think playing on xcloud is worth it? Thank you in advance! EDIT. I don't know if it helps for the recommendations, but I'd love to play Halo Infinite and Sea of Thieves, plus some other SP games such as Nier Automata and The Outer Worlds [link] [comments] | ||
