    Hello everyone! We wanted to take this opportunity to go over a few things since our last SotS. Please provide feedback on everything below and we'll take it to heart!

    Tech Threads:

    This was a BIG one. One which we weren't quite sure how to tackle. That is until destiny fell into our laps!

    Microsoft has reached out to us to begin offering tech support directly on the subreddit. Giving it their full attention. We will be launching a pilot over the next week, and if all goes well, moving into full production from now on! All tech support questions will be housed within a megathread for easier support directly from Microsoft.

    Rules and Xbox Going Forward:

    There was some discussion on the rules themselves. Going forward, we're going to make a small poll, and based on those polls the rules with change or be adhered to in the strictest fashion based on the decision of the pollsters. The reason we did this is because for a while now we've seen two sides of the argument, so now we'd like to make the line definitive again and lock-down on what the community wants.

    We'd also like to ask people's opinions of where Xbox Series X content should go.

    We're in need of some assistance on the moderation side. As years go on, some moderators shift duties, and some pass on or go on longer breaks due to having children, promotions, or other various reasons.     What's up everyone? Hope all is well. I'm trying to decide on what wireless game headset to buy and I've narrowed it down to these two. What do you all prefer? If you can think of another headset I should get instead, throw that out there too. Thanks.

    can anyone help me out? I've tried everything to fix this. when I try to change the billing address it won't change from U.S to Canada (my location) cant purchase any xbox 360 games/dlc. help would be much appreciated :)

    Anyone else still basically unable to play after the most recent patch? I've been wanting to dig in for ages but at some point in my session- could be immediately, 5 minutes in, or half an hour in- I get hit with severe frame rate drops, some input lag and the game generally slows to a crawl, even cutscenes. I'm on a standard Xbox One (bought Christmas 2013), game is installed directly to the internal hard drive, via GamePass, if that matters at all.

    Could deleting and redownloading fix this?

    Gaming monitor for Xbox One X

    I'm trying to find a good monitor to use for my Xbox One X that can really take advantage of the system but not go overboard with features that are more meant for PC. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    My Xbox One S is not letting me play any of my Xbox 360 games. I've tried Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 3 and Red Dead Redemption. When I put in the disc it says This game isn't playable here. I've already tried hard resetting my Xbox. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Anyone in here running hugesnet for there internet provider? Moving to a place that has internet in only certain spots. Most likely gonna have to run hugesnet. I've been looking at forums but they all date back to 2016. So hoping someone here is running it now and can give me some insight if it's gonna be a hair pull or not!

    Will an xbox one power on when not put together?

    My dog recently pee'd on my xbox one :(. I have it apart and everything looks fine, but it still will not turn on. I was wondering if it had some sort of safety feature which would prevent it from booting up while apart, or am I just up the river?

    As a long time playstation fan I can’t believe I’m saying this but.....the xbox x is a better value than the ps5 as of right now and game pass is the biggest reason.

    As we all know the ps5 is not nearly as powerful as the x. Games will run better on the x (if optimized properly). The biggest thing I care about when buying a new system is games of course. Sony has already announced that the new system will only launch with some games being backwards compatible which is absurd to say the least. Everyone knows that when a new system comes out the first year is the worst because there aren't any new games being pumped out to meet the new system besides games such as call of duty. At most you get two exclusives and a bunch of third party games that are half optimized for the new consoles.

    But here's the thing.....the xbox will not only have gears 5 and the new halo, which as a ps4 owner I dont have, but they also will have them on the game pass along with ALL of the previous gen games. The game pass allows people to get access to hundreds of games on their new console for ten bucks while sony will force you to not only buy the new games at full price but only offer you some ps4 games in the ps4 now service that you have to stream.....

    This last part is subjective but as far as we know all of the ps5 exclusives are single player only. Most people play online with their friends these days. I'm not buying a 600 dollar console on top of 180 dollars worth of games just to play by myself when I can just buy the new xbox and spend 10 dollars initially AND play with my friends in both campaign and online. In all honesty the ps5 will sell well because of the reputation of the ps4 but based on these things I just don't see why any gamer on a budget would buy it. Not to mention we all know sony takes very long dropping their exclusives. If Sony doesn't announce any multiplayer exclusives games or a complete revamp of the ps now service along with a detailed list of their backwards compatible games....then team xbox here I come lol
