    is it normal for my 360 to make this noise? had it since ‘12 & played it a lot when i was in high school. i cleaned all the dust out of it a year or so ago. should i stop using it so i don’t break it? it doesn’t make this noise when i play a game from one of my usb’s.

    Basically I've given my friend my account so he can download ncaa football 14 from it. We looked up how to license transfer on YouTube and followed all the steps. When he tries to download ncaa 14 it starts downloading but is stuck on 0%. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    My Xbox has family controls even though I never added them.

    So I just got an Xbox 360 from a neighbour and he wiped it so there's no account or family settings. But when I try to play a game the family code thing appears asking me to put a code in BUT I NEVER MADE ONE!!! Why is there just family controls for no reason and how do I remove them? (Edit: It's fixed! I called my neighbour up and he put in his old code so now it's fine. Thanks for all your help guys!)

    I've read old reviews saying how broken it was on release, and I've seen change logs addressing some issues. But, I haven't been able to track down one saying the issues with the 360 version were fixed. Perhaps the 360 version didn't even get the final update? I'm not sure.

    Has anyone actually played the 360 version? Is it fixed or is it still a trash fire?

    I get this error when I try to put in the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 original Xbox in my Xbox 360 s. I’ve been chatting with Xbox support but they haven’t given a clear answer. Can original Xbox games (from the online list of backwards compatible games) still be played on the 360?

    I'm trying to download an XBox Originals game that I got on Games for Gold a few months back. The download goes to 80% normally, then jumps to 100%, then gives me a "Can't Download this game" notification, and leaves a corrupted install file on my hard drive and quits.

    If I delete the corrupted install and restart, the same thing happens. If I restart the download without deleting the install, the download jumps from 0% to 80% instantly, then to 100% instantly, then gives me the same error.

    I've downloaded several other games, both 360 and original Xbox, both Games for Gold and purchased, and am only having issues with this one game.

    I've also tried:

    • Clearing hard drive space
    • Clearing cache (3x in a row) then rebooting and retrying the download
    • Downloading over wired and wireless connections

    I doubt region is an issue, since I've always lived in the US in the same place since I've had the 360. It obviously seems like an issue on Microsoft's end, but I've been working on this for a couple of weeks now, and it doesn't look like it's getting fixed anytime soon, so I wanted to make sure it's nothing on my end.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    I was looking to see if I could by real steel or the Pacific rim game on 360 but they were de-listed in 2017. Does anybody know where I can buy a console with them already installed? Thanks

    Xbox 360 Slim isnt working (red dot and fan)

    When i turn it on the green light blinks for a second then the a red dot appears for a few seconds and the fan activates loudly. Nothing appears on the display.

    I have tried cleaning out the hard drive port, maybe there was dust, but nothing happened.

    I have also tried started the xbox at different positions.

    Some of my friends said it could be overheating so i started it with the AC and still nothing and its not hot at all.
