    Good Power Supply Brands?

    My girlfriend's 360S that I've been playing a lot of recently had the power brick turn red and stop working. I bought a replacement, which was okay for a little bit but then wouldn't turn on within 3 months. I've bought another one but it's the same brand from a different seller. This one literally lasts like 20 minutes before dying during play. It comes back on, but not for long. Overheating, shorting, I don't know.

    Anyway, it's frustrating. We are in Brazil and options seem to be pretty limited. However, I will be back in the US for the holidays. Are there any trusted, generally-good power brick brands for the 360S? I feel like these Chinese/Brazilian knockoffs are pretty garbage.

    Hi! I've never owned or played any sort of game console, but have always wanted to. Yesterday somebody left a working Xbox 360 on my office's free table and I snatched that up! They left a note saying that the disc reader was broken but otherwise is in good condition. I am not 100% sure exactly which xbox model it is but I think it's the original one (1st gen or whatever)

    I got it all set up with my TV and it turns on and seems to work fine but can't confirm yet since they didn't include a controller (have one coming later today).

    My main question is about games / memory - can I still buy / download games from the internet without a working disc drive? Do I need an Xbox live paid subscription to get digital games?

    Also it looks like it's missing the memory stick thing that I assume plugs into the top - can I just get an external hard drive and use that for storage, or do I need to get an original xbox storage stick?

    And if you have any game recs let me know - I think Bioshock is first on my list :)

    Sorry if these are dumb questions I just have never owned or used an Xbox before and want to get it set up as best I can! Can't wait for my controller to get here so I can mess with it lol
