    My Xbox wouldn't turn on about a week ago so I got a new power brick from amazon. I tried using that one but my Xbox only turns on for about ten seconds and the power brick has a red light. If anyone can help please do.

    I suggest read all of it or none of it

    For one, shouldn't I be able to download games that I bought on the 360? Specifically Black Flag, I realize the Xbox One disc doesn't work on the 360.

    But, that doesn't appear to be the problem though, yet…

    Im really not even sure how I got into this account. As far as I was concerned, I was locked out. I think the original email I used was non existent, and I definitely didnt know the password. Ran into a brick wall every time, the same annoying pop up.

    I do remember somehow randomly logging into it a few months back, on the 360. Now I couldnt tell you how. Anyway, I just reset the password with my moms old email, go figure right? Super happy about that.

    The reason I am here is, am I stuck on child settings? I attempted to buy Assassins Creed Black Flag to see what it would say, and it said:

    "Ask a parent for permission…You need permission to buy this. We'll let you know when you're good to go." With the option to "Ask Now", which I guess will send an email?

    Whatever, I spent too much time trying to figure out how to turn off child settings, to hear that it would automatically change to an adult when you turn 18…? My date of birth is and has always been set to 1999 on this account, im 22 years old.

    Im trying to add my newer Xbox One account as a parent but it keeps saying:

    "Try that again… There was a problem, please try adding that person again"

    Ive tried and failed many times and reset my button pattern password, it wont work.

    Any ideas? Im unable to access privacy settings on Microsoft.com until my security code updates from my mothers old email to my phone, which is in 30 days.

    All I really wanted the last hour of my Sunday was to find the Child Settings, I thought this was gonna be easy.
