    GTA IV DLC digital purchase?

    I bought the base game of GTA IV on the Xbox One store, but I can't buy the Episodes From Liberty City version. I see the individual DLCs in the add-ons section, but I can't buy them.

    If I go to one of the DLC pages two identical versions of Episodes From Liberty City come up and I can't buy either of those either. Any ideas??

    Longer XBOX One HDMI Cables

    I had I think it was a 15ft HDMI cable that I was using, which worked decently. Problem is, it was slightly too short and difficult to plug in if it came unplugged. So, I bought a new one, which was 16 ft, that solved that problem. However, ever since using it, I've had intermittent issues. I've had to reset my XBOX One, twice to get it to get the image on the screen (clear the cache basically) and now it seems like this fix no longer works. I'm guessing it's the cable I bought, here. Cable is a 16ft long 8k cable. The previous one was 4k.

    Anyone have their XBOX One (not XBOX One X or XBOX Series X|S) plugged into a 16+ ft HDMI cable? I'm interested in seeing what you're using.

    EDIT: I forgot to mention: XBOX is plugged into a receiver with HDMI-passthrough. I'm looking for a cable to plug in from the receiver's HDMI Out to my monitor. My monitor is 1080p. My receiver is 4K ready.

    Xbox Live Gold confusion

    So I went onto the xbox app one day and saw a notification on it that said that if I logged in to the app everyday from Monday 28th of June to Friday 2nd of July (Today, as of making this post), I would receive a free 7 day Xbox Live Gold subscription. So I did just that and logged onto the app everyday from that Monday to Friday and the same pop up in the app appeared and ticked off the days and when I reached the final day, I didn't get anything. The whole 5 day calendar thingy was ticked off and the notification just closed. I don't understand why Microsoft would bait out people assumably for user interaction with the xbox app but it they did, it's kinda scummy to be honest. I don't know if I'm supposed to wait a while longer for the subscription to reach me but as of the final day on the "program" I haven't received gold. By the way when I say pop up and notification I don't mean an ad, I mean like the kind of thing the app normally does after an update where it shows the patches and that. I just wanted to know if this was an issue with anyone else on the Xbox mobile app or if I'm just the unlucky guy who got duped. I'll edit this post to keep it up to date.

    Edit 1: I just went on my xbox to find proof of the offer so I don't get called a liar on the internet.

    Has anyone here ever sent their Xbox in to Microsoft for service?

    Just wondering what you're experience was like and if they fixed the issue or not. I just shipped mine off yesterday.

    I'm really worried they're just going to say "sorry it's not broke" and send it back. The thing is it doesn't experience it's issue with every game but about half of them.

    Realistically what is stopping Xbox from launching a revised controller w haptic feedback and some other extra features?

    Y'know, let the old controllers work as they do but treat the new revised controller as the default one when developing games. Would that be really much of a problem?

    I love the Xbox controller more than anything but a few features wouldn't hurt

    Hey guys,

    I'm pretty much an avid RuneScaper and since I'm migrated to console, i have dedicated my gaming time for my Xbox.

    I know I can just play RuneScape but it's a little more complicated than that for me at the moment!

    Anybody with RPG or mmo knowledge know or recommend games that are similar at all with RuneScape on the Xbox?

    Edit; it doesn't necessarily have to be an mmo!
