    I've rented video games from my library before. Its not something I do all the time. But I've been thinking about doing it more often because its better than buying games in my opinion because nothing is better than free. My library keeps the discs in good condition so you don't have to worry about it not working. Also, I don't know if this is true for all libraries but my library has something called interlibrary loan. Its where if your library doesn't have something in their catalog they can get it from another library. This includes video games. Its a really good deal. You can check out up to 3 games at a time and you can keep them for I think 3 weeks. That should be plenty of time to beat a game. Has anyone done this before? What is your experience with it?

    Hi, I am seeing if anyone here has successfully recovered an account from Microsoft. I recently repurchased an xbox one after my ex stole mine, and am trying to log in to my account from 6-10 years ago. This profile has all dlc and such downloaded, and some things that have been removed from the store completely, so obviously I am working my ass off to get this stuff back.

    So everytime I submit a form, I get the response saying "Unfortunately, our automated system has determined that the information you provided was not sufficient for us to validate your account ownership" while I've provided all information needed correctly except the last 4 digits of my credit card used to purchase things. If anyone has had their account recovered, please let me know the best way to do this. Thank you

    Question regarding game pass renewal

    I couldnt find a thread regarding my specific question.
    We all know the great deal 3 years ago, when you load 1-3 years worth of xbox live, it will convert all years to game pass for $1.

    Anyways 3 years has gone by, I have 10 days left of my subscription, if I buy a 12 month xbox live card and enter it in, would it extend my game pass as well?

    Game clip (“Record what happened”) feature only recording first 3-5 seconds out of a 30 second to 2 minute clip

    So I've had my Xbox One S for about 2 years now, but this problem has been going on for several months now. For context, my favorite game to play is Rainbow Six Seige, a fast-paced shooter that consists of 2-minute rounds. Let's say that I got a squad wipe on the enemy team (something that I don't do very often lol) and wanted to record the entire 2 minute round for future viewing pleasure. Upon the conclusion of the round, I would press the Xbox button, click on the "capture what happened" button, and select "last 2 minutes". Around 10 minutes later or so, I would get an Xbox notification saying that my "Clip uploaded to Xbox Live", meaning that my game clip was supposedly ready. Great! Unfortunately, when I opened the notification, I would be met with a 3-5 second game clip from the first couple of seconds of the round before abruptly ending. This happens with pretty much every single clip that I try to record that is over 30 or so seconds. It's pretty annoying and disappointing that I won't be able to view some of the awesome moments that happened during my gaming sessions ever again because of these capture errors. I've tried deleting a large amount of game clips from my console, uninstalling a few games to free up more storage, and even lowering the game clip quality from 1080p to 720p. I've managed to get my storage space to around 20% free now but nothing seems to work and the problem persists. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Any help is appreciated. Thank you

    Achievements not unlocking?

    I'm playing PSO2 and my achievements aren't unlocking. Playing the Microsoft version on PC. I've tested the requirements on Steam and they unlock there so I'm not sure what the solution is. I've repeated the quests, and even logged out and logged back in to no avail. In game and my MS account.

    The were working fine on July 1st.

    Need for speed rivals crashing

    Hey guys I used to play this game a lot on 360 and seen it was on ea play so I picked it up and played through the tutorial again then when I chose my side and the game was looking for a match to join it crashed and it keeps crashing this was never an issue for the Xbox 360 I turned my system to offline and was able to get into a game by myself of course but when I turned my console back online and tried to find a online session to join again bam crash so is this game completely unplayable online? Am i missing something any help would be appreciated. I've done the ol classic hard reset, using the controller to turn on the console, and the clear cache and still constantly crashes when im trying to find an online game. This game is very boring without online play so I'd love some ideas here

    Cloud Gaming + Pringles = Best LAN Party Ever

    I had this epic LAN party last night.

    Invited 11 people over.

    6 bought their laptops, and I supplied the other 5 with a laptop.

    I gave each person a can of pringles which gave 7-days of free GPU.

    Within 10-minutes, all of us were in a Halo MCC game together. All we needed was one Xbox One and 11 crappy laptops.

    All 12 players were going through the same internet connection. The only issues seemed to be with sound. It was crackly at times. However, the video stream from the Microsoft servers seems to be good.

    I can see myself using this tech a lot in the future. Hell, I can now easily play non-split screen Xbox games with anybody that comes to my house.

    Can't wait until they have non-Game Pass games on there too.

    Hard Drive not working despite a few months in use.

    Back in March, I had an inquiry with my hard drive, which was a 2 TB Seagate. I thought the solution was to use another hard drive since the Seagate drive was well over three years old and probably stopped working. So I used my 4 TB WD hard drive that I had on me for my laptop, but I rarely used it until plugging it into my Xbox. It worked for about a few months and now while watching YouTube my Xbox suddenly stopped recognizing it. I tried plugging it into my laptop, but it showed up as unrecognized even if I switched the cords. The small light on it is blinking, but nothing shows up. I had my WD hard drive for a year and rarely used it. Could it be that my Xbox might be aging or was there something that might have stopped my Xbox and laptop recognizing my hard drive?

    Game recommendations for game pass console?

    Elite controller input lag

    I am experiencing input lag on my elite series 2 controller. Specifically it is when I am using the left click input. It does not always recognize the command and when it does, I get a little bit of a delay. Has anyone ever experienced this and do you have any suggestions?
