Ok I'm impressed with the s had it about a week and it's so quiet and the quick resume feature is amazing. Yea I could use more space but I still have the one x so I think I'm doing okay. I still can't get over the fact I turn on the Xbox and in 2 seconds I'm already in game.

Xbox Series X - connecting to PC monitor without built in speakers?

Bear with me for this idiotic question. If I plug my Xbox into the PC monitor, and it doesn't have built in speakers, what's the best solution for audio? I have PC speakers hooked up to my desktop currently just via a normal audio cable to the sound card on the motherboard. Assuming my best options are headphones, a separate speaker system, or some kind of audio converter?

Transfer question

I recently ordered a series x and it will be here soon. I currently have a One X with an external hd. Now I know that it will be as simple as plug and play to keep going on the Series X, my question is for the few games that are optimized for Series X, do I have to transfer them over to the system it's self or will it recognize that I have the new system and automatically do it?

For example, I got the cross gen bundle of Call of Duty, both versions (one x and series x) are installed on my external, though only have the option to play the One X version. When I plug it in to the Series X, will it notice the optimized version and download it?

I apologize if this makes no sense whatsoever, it sounds better in my head lol

Fixing the double input problem on Xbox controllers? Steam Fire Delay

Hey all, so you can manually set specific activators for Steam games but you can't set activators for all games globally. I would think there would be a setting in the controller config, but you can only find activators when setting a specific controller configuration for a specific game.

My problem: All Xbox controllers after 360 double input the face buttons, literally every single one. Some people won't notice depending on how hard you press the face buttons, but for me it's terrible. You can fix this in Steam games by going to controller activators and setting the 'Fire End Delay' up a little bit so that it ignores double inputs. The issue comes up when I want to play a non-steam game, even though I'm using Steam controller drivers to play the non-steam game I can't set the 'Fire End Delay' so I get double inputs again.

Anyone know a workaround?

I do understand what they do, and essentially how they work. My main question is how do they work offline? If I don't have internet will they unlock and sync to my account once I'm online again just like playstation? I know that on 360 they sync but without a date. How does it work on the Xbox One?

Limited choice for controllers with paddles/back buttons?

It seems like there's very limited options for controllers with paddles or buttons currently. My old controller is no longer being made and I can't find anything to replace it. From what i can see there's Razer, Scuf, Elite, Evil and a couple of others but there doesn't seem to be much variety, and nothing that has the same qualities as my old one.

The Power A Fusion Pro had the following features (in order of importance): back buttons, less 'clicky' rb/lb buttons than the standard, smaller overall size, grips for hands, trigger lock for paddles, adjustable joysticks.

I can't find anything that fulfils the first three features listed above. Could anyone help? (I'd be happy with paddles or buttons on the back) Any help or information on this would be appreciated

XBox One Controller - Battery literally jumps out and shorts battery?

It started a while ago, one of my batteries started getting loose, it always fell out when I touched it without the cover.

Now it literally refuses to stay in there, when I force it to be there, the Plus pin shorts the battery and it gets extremely hot.

Can someone help? Fixing the jumping issue would fix the shorting I think, (the battery gets shorted through the Plus Pin, it connects the plus and minus of the batery)

Xbox Series S controller won’t sync/Turn on?

I bought my series S 3 days ago, It's worked perfectly fine until last night. My controller wouldn't turn on, when I replace the batteries (even with fresh batteries) it will blink a couple times, vibrate, then just die. It also won't sync. Has anyone else dealt with this issue? Is there a fix?

I recently got the game pass and there's some pretty interesting looking games on there which I want to try but because I can't spend as much time playing as I used to so it would be nice to know a time frame for when the games are available until so I know which ones to prioritise first.
