    When posting a question, please include the following information

    Edit for everyone confused: GAME PASS ULTIMATE. Why would I be asking about GPUs in an Xbox sub?

    I keep seeing people saying "I've never paid full price for game pass ultimate" or "I got last year for $1."

    I'm paying $15 a month like a chump. What am I not doing?!

    Didn't expect this to get so many replies and I appreciate everyone answering! I assume I'm not the only person who was paying top dollar for the monthly subscription so hopefully others will save going forward too.

    I'll sum up some of the ways to save on GPU subs for everyone.

    -live in Brazil where it's cheaper

    -use a vpn to pretend to live in Brazil

    -Xbox rewards for 5 min a day on your phone will net you enough for a sub each month or close to it

    -convert a gold sub into an ultimate. Essentially get the price of ultimate ($15 a month) for the price of gold ($5 per month) + $1.

    -EA conversion no longer valid

    -GameStop points

    -wait for a sale on GPU cards and stock up (Amazon, target, Walmart)

    -work for Microsoft or have a relative who works for Microsoft

    -start a new Xbox account on the same console as your primary account and get "new member price" then home share with primary account

    -let sub expire for a month or two and let Xbox offer you a deal to come back

    Would you return an Elite Series 2 for an unresponsive face button?

    So I pulled the trigger on an elite series 2. No complaints expect for one issue, I noticed immediately that the B button is somewhat unresponsive. Like for every 20 clicks it'll only register ~15.

    If I apply decent force it'll register almost 100%, but this requires using what I consider an abnormal and unnecessary degree of force. I'm so use to pressing these buttons at a normal force and I have to be conscious of it at all times to press it harder, also I'm sure it's not great for the controllers durability.

    I've also noticed it's more reliable when pressed directly down at a 90 degree angle, where as when you press it on any of the corners it's way less likely to register. The B button is the only face button with this issue, all others can be gently tapped in either the center or at an angle and will register just fine.

    Would you return/exchange an elite controller with this issue? Or is there a chance the button will break in with some use?

    TLDR: B button on brand new series 2 controller is somewhat unresponsive. Will the button "break in" overtime or should I return/exchange it for a new one?

    Do 360 achievements still pop offline?

    Gonna be without internet for a few days so I'll be avoiding XB1 games, since I know earning achievements offline can be spotty when it comes to reconnecting and having them register. But do 360 games through BC have the same problem? Since you could earn achievements offline on 360 and the XB1 runs an emulated dashboard and everything, I wasn't sure if the achievements would still pop when offline too.

    I'm right at the end of Dead Space on impossible mode so I'll be pretty miffed if the cheevo doesn't pop after all this effort.

    Just got a Xbox One X, my first ever Xbox, learning things fast but I do have a couple of questions

    Coming from the launch ps4 (still have it, had it since launch) this is kinda confusing but also kinda familiar since I use a Windows laptop. But some things are a bit too confusing.

    I have seen that Instant-On is the Xbox version of Rest Mode for PS4. But if I want to put it in rest mode, I choose the 'turn console off' option right?

    I got the 3 month GPU deal and I'm currently downloading Forza Horizon 4. Pretty much the only game and reason I bought the console for. It's downloading right now and I saw all the necessary numbers, how much is downloaded/total size, download speed, progression bar with completion percentage. But I noticed there were no numbers for how long it would take for the download to finish. As in hours. Is there somewhere I can activate this or is this just not a thing on Xbox?

    I do have a lot of games for the PS4 and a lot of them are also on Xbox. But what games do you guys recommend me? Never played any of the Xbox exclusives apart from Forza Horizon 2. And now with Gamepass, this could me a great way of playing some games I missed out on

    UNO is it playable yet?

    was reading some xbox reviews and some stuff on reddit saying its just unplayable servers crashing, getting booted out game. anyone who plays is this still the case? im downloading trial now but not sure if this will say enough about playablity for me and just wondered if anyone could save me the frustration and a few £ in advanced thx guys

    Saving networks for faster connections

    Is it possible to save two or more frequent networks and passwords to my Xbox One X to enable faster connections to the internet and Xbox love when I move my unit between two locations?

    I take my Xbox to work every third day (I'm a firefighter/medic) and it's a hassle having to input the passwords for each network every time I set it up at home or at work.

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.

    Xbox disc stuck in console

    my disc wouldn't eject when pressing the eject button, instead making a noise trying to spit it out but failing. i tried the manual eject but couldn't get it to come out. any tips?

    Memory expansion for Series S options?

    I currently have an external hard drive but S and X upgraded games must be loaded internally. I just don't know the difference between an external hard drive and an SSD and don't know my options. I would like all my games to be on one drive with my S and X upgrades enabled. I currently am using a 4tb external hard drive, so I would like a new one with that much memory if not a little more. Thanks all!!
