    It just so happens the tool that can be used on the Xbox 360 appears to not function anymore. Many users across the web (not just on Reddit) are reporting the same issue. It seems to be affecting some people more than others. I personally know of 7 people that have the issue, and two people who have managed to transfer.

    I have been in touch with Microsoft support over the web chat six times now, and no solutions have been offered other than to take the Xbox 360 to a service repair centre. The problem with this that it is almost 100% a server issue as I have done literally everything you can think of to remedy it on my end.

    I basically want to make people aware that there are issues around license transferring and to be warned when switching xbox's, as M$ isn't really being very helpful in this situation. I've noticed this issue about a month and a half ago, still not resolved.

    Mine is doing the survivor achievement on Dead Rising for the laser sword. I watched movies on my psp while doing it.

    Another very fond memory I have is playing Resident Evil 5 with my brother. The final boss is nuts and I don't want to spoil anything by describing it what he can do that is so cool.

    I did lose who I considered my bestfriend thought I copied him by getting 360 like he did (although I got mine a year after him in 2007 over the summer)

    I regret nothing though because playing Gears of War, Skyrim, mass effect, dragon age, and I could go on and on.

    I did end up getting a ps3 in 2013 to play the last of us and uncharted games among other exclusives but my 360 got me through my adolescence with grace.

    Having to truck around a binder of discs in order to play games is irritating, and takes up a ton of space in whatever I'm moving my setup in. I really don't want to shell out another $150+ on games from the store. Basically, my question is as follows, is there any way to download an ISO that has a "downloaded from store" tag or something?

    Xbox 360 S(lim) - RDOD, ERROR 17 (Sec. 0101)

    So, from my understanding Xbox Error 17 (secondary code 0101) has this description "This error is caused by bridged solder joints under the USB ports or a defective USB device that is connected to it."

    Now, I got this second hand from a friend way back in 2016, 2017ish, it worked fine until about late 2019ish. After learning you could back up the hard drive to the cloud, I figured I might as well try getting it up and running again.

    My question is how to fix it. I've seen things online about getting the USB solder joint underneath "professionally reflowed" and the like, but i'm not in the financial position to pay for that. Is there a way to do that myself? I own a heat gun, but I don't think I have soldering iron...

    I will also note that when I would press the power, it would start up with the green dot, then about 5 seconds later it would turn into the RDOD However, when I would put a USB into a port in the back (I haven't done the front USB ports), the green dot would show, but 4 green lights around the power circle would do a little dance thing before doing the RDOD.

    I know the Red Ring of Death means a general hardware failure but is my Externsl drove having a failure? I dont know if it counts within that category of general hardware because I'm not smart with electronics

    Okay so as the title says, I can't download Cars, I bought it on a different console. I can't seem to get the download going....

    The download goes into the active downloads, but after 15 seconds or so it says that the download has failed.

    Is there a solution to this, or can I just not play Cars?

    Edit: I have an Xbox 360S, and I am not touching anything while downloading. I also can't find the game in the store, so is it possible that they removed it?

    Edit 2: I got the download working, I had to delete the data from the harddisk, and then it started :D

    GTA 5 error

    I've recently bought gta 5 for xbox 360, but every time i want to play, all i can do is play for 5 minutes then the game restarts and says

    "The game was restarted due to an error with the storage device where the game was installed

    Please replace the storage device and reinstall the game data where the game if issues continue to occur"

    I've reinstalled the game multiple times and removed the save file. Same thing happens, the weirdest part is that the game doesn't stop during missions, but only during free play. Please help?

    Is it still possible to use a Wireless adapter to do an Xbox 360 update?

    I should have asked this before I got the adapter but is this still possible? I have the old white big Xbox.

    I tried to do a usb update but when I click on the link in the Microsoft support section nothing happens.

    Gta 3 backwards compatibility
