    Hi, I'm thinking about buying one of the Xbox Series consoles. I do have a question about using the Microsoft Store to buy digital games to play on an Xbox before making my purchase.

    I currently do not have an Xbox Series console right now. I have made an Xbox account, including my gamer tag, on my Windows 10 PC. This Xbox account is the same account I will use to purchase digital games on the Microsoft Store on my Windows 10 PC. If I buy an Xbox game with this account RIGHT NOW, on Windows 10, can I later connect the same account to an Xbox and transfer the game to the console in the future, without any worries that the account won't work or anything like that? I'm new to Microsoft's policies so I'm just wondering.

    Like the title says, if I hop off my game for a few to look something up on youtube or something, the game will shut down if left for more than maybe 2 minutes. Is there a setting I'm not finding that does this?

    I've got 3 consoles and not a lot of space (360, One S & PS4). I've thought about getting a stand for the consoles, but I'm not sure. Would it be a good idea to stand them on their side or on top of each other (with something to hold the one above so it's not blocking the fan)?

    Does achievement progress carry over (same game, different generation)?

    I started a game on XBox 360 years ago. If I download the compatible version on my Series X through Game Pass, do I continue to earn achievement progress on my Xbox 360 record? Or does it instead start a brand new achievement record with, say 0/30 achievements earned?

    Yo guys, does anyone know when the new update for the headset and controllers will be available to the general public? I know they're with the alpha insiders at the moment, just not sure when everyone gets them? Looking forward to the mic monitoring improvement on the headset!

    Multi-screen Gamepass across console/phone+++

    I have Gamepass on my account. My girlfriend has a profile without Gamepass on the same Xbox. This means that she can play all of my downloaded games.

    She plays on the TV where the Xbox is connected. Everything is working fine.

    Then I also want to play, but I realize that I can play my game on the phone, in the Gamepass app, via the cloud.

    When I try to start the game via cloud on the phone, her game on the TV stops telling her that the Gamepass is being used on another device, and she gets to choose whether to keep the game on the TV or allow the game to be started on the phone.

    This means that Gamepass can only be used on one screen at a time.

    Does anyone know if Microsoft is planning on allowing multiscreen usage of the Gamepass? It would seem an obvious move if they're expanding into cloud gaming.

    My current Netflix subscription let's up to 4 screens use the account at the same time. I would like this option for Gamepass as well. :)

    Having two fully paid Gamepass subscriptions in the same household isn't an option. There could f.x. be a bit more expensive subscription allowing this (as on Netflix).

    Any input or thoughts? I'm not following the day to day news regarding Gamepass and functionality, so bear with me. :)

    Hey fellow Redditors and Gamers, I have a huge problem right now. On my old Xbox one, I made two accounts one with my actual email which is my main account on which I played games and I made another account where I made a new email on which I paid for my Xbox game pass ultimate subscriptions. Plus for the second account, I put my main email as an alternate username/email in case I forget the password or something for the new (alt) one. So after that I get a Series X but forget to turn off recurring billing and to cancel the subscription on my alt subscription account and when I set up the Series X only the main account on which I play games was transferred because that is my main email. I don't have my old Xbox one anymore (it has been a few weeks since I bought the Series X), and I can't remember a single detail from my alt account, the email, password Gamertag anything! And Microsoft keeps billing me for the subscription each month even though I can't use it because I can't and am not logged into that account at all. When I tried to log into the alt account on my new Xbox I pressed the forgot my account option and put in my main AKA the alternate email option for the account which is the same email that I use my main account for and it only gives me the first two digits of the email which doesn't help anything. So my question is there an option to retrieve my email because I don't remember any info for it I only know the alternate email for it which is the main one I use, and if I can't retrieve it can I somehow cancel the subscription so they don't keep billing me for something I can't even use. Guys I have been trying for weeks now and will do anything to fix it would appreciate any help or tips I can get. Thank you so much!!

    Issues buying Black Ops II digitally

    Hopefully any of you know what the hell to do. I'm pissed. I bought Black Ops II digitally when I had the physical version installed. Apparently that was the worst mistake of my life. Everything went through, it seemingly installed just fine. Right up until I went to start the damn game. It tells me to insert the disc I no longer have. I just bought the damn thing. So I go back to look in the store and it tells me to buy it. Can't install it from there. Go check my shit in "My Games and Apps", not there. Restart Xbox. Still not there. Still can't install it from the store. Refresh the list.... still can't. Still not in the list. Contact support, 45 minutes on the phone later of every possible troubleshooting step in creation and the rep refunding the money to my account and trying to re-purchase it from his end, still doesn't show up on mine... still tells me to buy the damn thing from the store. He finally just tells me to try and get a refund, so I request it. Then I think. Well that'll be back in my account in like a few days, I may as well try hitting "Buy" again just to see. Everything goes through. Game fully installs with everything without an issue after the payment is accepted....20 minutes later it's done downloading, go back to start it..... tells me to insert the disc or get the license from the store. Go check the store... wants me to fucking buy it again. Can't install it, not in "My Games and Apps". I deleted my account, put it back on, restarted the Xbox, everything. It isn't there, and apparently I can spend the ridiculous $53 for the damn thing 800 times and it will say I still need to buy it.

    So that's the story. I'm wondering if this has happened to anybody else, if it ever got resolved (and if it did, how)??? Or if anybody smarter than me knows wtf is going on or how to fix it? I bought the Fallout 4 GOTY edition along with it, and that's running just fine and I can actually play it, so I don't think it's an issue with my account or anything. Any input is welcomed, thanks.
