    1. Your tech issue has happened before, like 99 percent of the time, and the fix is usually quite simple after some googling.
    2. Gamepass is the best bang for your buck. Period.
    3. Arguing over messages that get logged, whether it's on the xbox chat or on this reddit, never, ever, works out.
    4. If you order a preview game you agree to buying an unfinished products.
    5. Xbox launches, specially those of AAA titles, are rarely perfect on day one.

    Just Cause 3 XXL is $5 USD right now and it's amazing

    I always overlooked this game, but it has been amazing. The Mech DLC is worth it alone and is an amazing display of physics and environmental destruction. Your mech has a gravity gun that can grab entire towers and launch them. Watching the destruction you can cause is worth it and is instant stress relief

    I dont have an XSX, but this baby in 60 fps will be awesome if Microsoft chooses to FPS Boost it

    Xbox One / 360 Compatibility Question

    I purchased the Splinter Cell series a while back on Xbox One - these include 3 games on the Original Xbox Version, and 2 on the 360 version which worked fine on the Xbox One.

    I have a 360 and other games that I've purchased before on the One (Star Wars KOTOR and Battlefront 2) have automatically installed on my 360 (both Original Xbox games). I see Splinter Cell (both the original and 360 titles) are supported on the 360 in the Store, but it says i have to purchase it again.

    Can anyone help me?

    What should I get on the Xbox game sale for less than $25?

    So far the only games that caught my eye were the following

    Just Cause 3 XXL for $6 Just Cause 4 (any edition$10-$18) BioShock the collection for $10
    Metro Exodus Gold edition for $20 Red Faction Guerrilla remastered for $6 Dark Pictures: Little Hope for $20.

    I would just get Little Hope, but my friend can't get it yet and I can't buy him it either since I only got $25 for Xbox. That's one game we were going to play together when we can. If there are other games that are great that I haven't seen then add it in the comments.

    Friends list being weird

    Anyone else having issues with their friends lists? Been happening to me since yesterday. Everyone shows up just fine but when I goto click on their name their gamer picture doesn't load and the only options that show up are, invite, join, send message, then there is a big space where a few options are missing...followed by see full profile, and report/block. If I wait long enough, the options for add friend and mute appear? So odd. I also can't sent game invites while this is happening. Only from in game menus

    Mobile Gaming, prefer dedicated controllers like BackBone/Kishi or controller clip? Trying to prepare for xCloud on iOS release

    I'm trying to prepare myself for the release of xCloud on iOS so I've been testing out a couple of different mobile gaming options and i'm curious to see what other people's setup is when gaming on their phone? Do you prefer using a dedicated mobile gaming controller like the BackBone or Razer Kishi Or do you prefer using a full-sized controller with a gaming clip attached like the OtterBox Mobile Gaming Clip? If you have both, do you use them both equally or do you game on one more than the other.

    I recently bought the BackBone, Razer Kishi, and Otterbox Mobile Gaming Clip and have been testing all 3 out to see which one fits for me. Comparing the BackBone and Razer Kishi, I would say the BackBone is superior in every way except portability. The Razer Kishi's condensing mechanism allows it to fit in your pocket pretty easily. Also, I like the analog stick tension on the Razer Kishi over the BackBone but that's a small detail. But in every other aspect like build quality, software, button clickiness, comfortability, etc the BackBone is better and since both retail around $100, I would choose the BackBone over the Kishi any day.

    Now the next comparison was with the Otterbox Mobile Gaming Clip vs BackBone. I really love the Xbox controller. I have large hands which makes the full-size controller much more comfortable than the BackBone. The only downsides I've seen with the clip are the weight distribution is weird and having the controller + the phone is a much larger form factor than just the BackBone. Also because how the weight distribution with the phone on the clip it's very uncomfortable playing lying down.

    Note - I installed iOS 14.5 public beta and that is how I've been using the Xbox Controller with my iPhone since 14.5 hasn't been released yet

    Edit - I just read from a customer review on the OtterBox website that they reversed the top of the gaming clip when laying down and it helped the weight distribution. I just tried this out and it does help out a lot!

    Any space / SciFi games in the style of The Witcher 3?

    Mass Effect is still pretty expensive, but I'd love to find something in the style of The Witcher 3 only in space or a SciFi universe. I know CPR makes Cyberpunk, but I'm not sure I wanna take the leap on Cyberpunk after the buggy launch. Deadspace maybe?

    Update: Just watched some gameplay reviews of Mass Effect: Andromeda. I think that's exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks all!

    Whenever I'm in a party my friends always lag when they talk. This only happens when they speak and it doesn't effect the the game I'm playing. Is this a problem with my wireless headset or is it an Xbox problem?
