    Co-op Split Screen Online Games

    I've been looking through the game pass and looking online but these seems to be a bit of a niche market so I'm struggling a bit -

    Can anyone recommend any decent games that are split screen AND online?

    Me and my girlfriend and a couple we're friends with regularly have nights where we'll go to each others houses and spend a few hours playing board games and certain videos games - however with the UK having its tier system and no mixing inside households, we can't do that currently (we're tier 3 and they're tier 2 for the UK followers)

    So we're looking to do an online one. Me and my girlfriend have 2 xbox's and 2 TV's, so we're good, but our friends have got 1 Xbox that they need to split screen.

    So they'll be using 1 TV on split screen, playing with us using 2 different consoles and screens, if that makes sense?

    TL;DR want to play games with friends but we need to be able to play split screen AND online

    Wired connection doesn’t work

    My wireless connection on my Xbox one works but my wired connection doesn't i have done everything from unplugging the cable from the Xbox and router to restarting my Xbox (when I use wired connection I get kicked off Xbox live after 1 minute )

    Series X is my first xbox since the 360, where to start?

    Hey everyone, the title says it all - haven't owned an xbox since the early 360 days. Took a loooong hiatus from gaming after getting super hooked (borderline addicted) to gaming since the release of the PS1. So, it was a healthy break, but I still love gaming and now I'm back. Just got the series x and am very excited to dive in, but there's a literal ocean of games out there. And since the series x has great backwards compatibility, there are just so many titles to explore.

    What Xbox games would you recommend to someone like me? I'm personally interested in good storytelling and engaging characters more than multiplayer. Good co-op games are fine too. Just trying to stay away from heavily competitive multiplayer titles that incentivize you to play as much as possible.

    TL;DR - series x is my first xbox since the 360. Really interested in games with good stories, engaging characters, etc. more than competitive multiplayer. What do you recommend?

    Questions about Xbox 360 HDMI + A/V output

    Hi all! I have never owned an xbox 360. My aunt (who is not technologically savy) lives and takes care of my grandma. My grandma generally spends her time in the recliner watching TV. My Aunt has been recently gifted an older 360 so that they can watch netflix and whatnot on the tv they had previously only had cable on. She currently only has an HDMI hooked up between the 360 and the TV.

    My grandmother is hard of hearing, so for Christmas I was going to get them speakers for either/both the tv and for music playback. The tv they have is also pretty old and doesn't have the ability to output audio.

    Does the 360 have the ability to send video through HDMI, while sending audio through an A/V cable or digital optical output? Does it do this automatically, or do you have to set it up through the settings? I am trying to find the simplest solution because I currently cannot be in their house (my grandma is very afraid of covid risks). I hope I can find a solution easy enough for my aunt to either do on her own, or if I can talk her through it on the phone.

    Is there a high-level support? How do I reach it?

    Hi. I received my Series X on Monday. On Thursday morning it wouldn't turn on. It's dead. I saw a few posts from others here having this problem. I'm not upset about this, as it happens. I just want a repair/replacement. But this seems to be impossible.

    On the support website, when I try to order a repair, the system kicks me out as soon as it gets to the final step. The form freezes up, refreshes, and I'm back to a login page. If I log in, I'm right back to the beginning of the form. I have tested this on every browser and every OS I have. The same thing happens.

    So I thought I would try to reach a human. The contact form tells me that this can't be handled over the phone, and to speak to the chat bot. The chat bot tells me this has to be handled by phone.

    I tried contacting @xboxsupport on Twitter, who informed me that they're just social media managers, so they can't do anything to help.

    So I am caught in several impossible loops, all of which forbid me from speaking in any way to a human who would be able to do the simple task of giving me a shipping label to send my device in for repair/replacement.

    Does anyone here have any idea how I can reach someone at Xbox Support that doesn't have me stuck in a loop?

    Speaker options greyed out?

    I had my Xbox one s unplugged for a few weeks and when I hooked it up to my receiver yesterday, the speaker options are greyed out to turn on hdmi audio and bitstream. I have factory reset the Xbox and the receiver, changed the hdmi cable and tried different ports on the receiver. Still greyed out. Anyone else have this?

    How do I get 1440p 120hz on the Xbox series x?

    I have a G Master GB2760QSU Red Eagle monitor and this supports 1440p 144hz but the Xbox series x lowers the resolution when I try to change the refresh rate to 12hz

    Redeem games for a later Xbox purchase?

    Requisite "sorry if this has been posted previously" caveat...

    I just did the $1 Prepaid Live-to-Ultimate Game Pass upgrade anticipating purchasing a Series X in the coming months. In the meantime, I hope to play some of the PC games that are available.

    I currently have no Xbox device associated with my account. Is there a way I can go online and purchase the monthly Games with Gold offerings and have them effectively saved to my account until I can find a SX in stock? I just tried with no option to "buy", just to install (which I couldn't do without an associated system).

    If this isn't possible, no worries. Just wanted to check before giving up. Thanks!

    Xbox One Controller problems

    Hello I have purchased two different Xbox one controllers this year and within two weeks the left and right bumpers keep giving out. (they will randomly not engage while pressing/holding down) They both had the same issue arise after about 2 weeks of purchase. Has anyone else had this problem? Or have a solution to fix the bumpers.

    New Xbox app- No achievements?

    Is it just me, or can you no longer view your achievements through the Xbox app? I used to use this feature all the time and now can't see to find them anywhere. Did they really remove that feature completely?
