PSA: Universal Hint System for games like Grim Fandango Posted: 04 Nov 2020 02:17 AM PST If you, like me, have decided to play Grim Fandango now it's on Game Pass, I bet you're going to need to look up a walkthrough. I suspect it's the same with the other two adventures that were added. I just discovered http://mobile.uhs-hints.com which, unlike a walkthrough, gives you hints that get progressively more revealing. I'm finding this a more satisfying way to play the game because, at least, you spend more time playing than reading someone else play the game. [link] [comments]

PSA: For those who don't know, Dragon Quest XI runs 60fps on Xbox One. Posted: 04 Nov 2020 09:03 PM PST Unconfirmed for PS4 but it's running 60fps and it's not a compressed pixelated mess like the Switch version. EDIT: It runs 60fps on the One X. One S is also unconfirmed on my end. [link] [comments]

Why can’t you view achievements/stats on the new app? Posted: 04 Nov 2020 07:57 PM PST You used to be able to view stats and achievements for each game and even compare them to other players. Why does that feature no longer exist? Seems like a major downgrade from the old app. [link] [comments]
Absolute props to the guy(s) behind Supraland. Posted: 04 Nov 2020 08:20 AM PST Saw this come game pass and seemed to be compared/inspired by Zelda/Metroid/Castlevania. So gave it a download. Almost 20hrs later I'm so close to 100%ing this game. An absolute blast to play. Puzzles are well thought out but you have to really put some thought behind the solutions to some. Mechanics of the game are introduced nicely and then it's up to you to figure/find out how to use them to get to where you need to be. The feeling you get when the penny drops and you just know what to do and your like, ooooh nice. This game isn't one to hold your hand and show you everything, and it certainly rewards you for exploring. Controls can be a bit awkward at times, especially controlling the jumping when you want to be precise. Other than that, I wholly recommend anyone who like a good puzzle/adventure to give this a try. Yet another game I would have likely overlooked had it not been on game pass. [link] [comments]
