Posted: 03 Mar 2020 11:30 PM PST My friends and I have been rediscovering the fun of the 360, but we have been using my roommates old OG big white 360, which has seen probably close to literal years of playing time. It runs pretty loud and hot, and seems to be on its final legs. I have an Xbox 360 slim that I rarely ever played that I was going to take back to my house to use instead of the monster 360 we currently use and just had a few questions that I was unable to find the answers to online.
Basically we just want to upgrade the console itself and keep all of the saved stuff that we currently have to resume playing as normal, so any tips on how to do that would be great. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Do I need the installation disc for the HD DVD Player or can I download the software? Posted: 03 Mar 2020 10:09 PM PST I just want to know whether or not the disc is required. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Mar 2020 09:59 PM PST I have two fat 60gb Pros and a slim. Both of the fat Pros have disk drive issues. One won't open 99% of the time but when it does, it reads any disk you put in. The other opens every time but has trouble reading disks. I was thinking about getting new disk drives for them. Do I need to order the exact same model by the same manufacturer, or will any Xbox 360 drive work? Thanks in advance for any advice! [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Mar 2020 12:29 PM PST We haven't used xbox live in about 7 years, and I got a message from my mom today saying she got charged for one, and looked and its reoccurred yearly. We understand its our mistake, and we're not looking to get the money back, however, Microsoft's website has been really unhelpful, as well as the xbox support number goes to a message that says you need to go to the site and login. Our main issue is we don't even know what the gamer tag was for the account, or what email it would have been registered under, as it was made well over a decade ago when we were all in our teens. Canceling the card is 100% not an option, as it is tied to all my parents automatic billing accounts, and that would take hours upon hours to rectify and has larger ramifications if they happen to miss an account. The only information we have is, what I believe to be, Microsoft's transaction ID. Has anyone else gone through something similar and has any advice? Thanks! [link] [comments]
