    Getting Things Straight About The XBox One X vs XBox One S

    Next-gen prices are going to murder me (Canadian) so I'm probably just looking at completing the current-gen trifecta and getting an XBox One at some point (probably catching a sale in the holidays). Some of these are easily googleable and have been googled but perhaps they've changed in the interim, some were googled and not easily googleable, so I'm just trying to get things straight

    1. Bundles come with download codes, not games pre-downloaded already? I have data caps, which no video games media or game companies recognize can be an issue, so this one's actually really important
    2. Backwards compatibility, even if you have the disc, it has to download the digital version of the game to properly emulate?
    3. Also on backwards compat, the free download is tied to a disc? There's no way to prove you own the physical disc on the digital-only XBox One S?
    4. Halo Master Chief still has no cross-play with the PC version?
    5. If you have an OG Xbox or 360 disc of a Halo game, it downloads and emulates that version and doesn't include the Master Chief collection additions and achievement lists for just that game? What does it do for a Halo 2 OG XBox disc, just emulates the OG Xbox version?
    6. Is 360 DLC still available for download on an Xbox One?

    Xbox one x resolution

    Could anyone explain one thing. I have a TV with supported resolution:

    Video formats Resolution — Refresh rate - 480i - 60 Hz - 480p - 60 Hz - 576i - 50 Hz - 576p - 50 Hz - 720p - 50 Hz, 60 Hz - 1080i - 50 Hz, 60 Hz - 1080p - 24 Hz, 25 Hz, 30 Hz

    Computer formats Resolutions (amongst others) - 640 x 480p - 60 Hz - 800 x 600p - 60 Hz - 1024 x 768p - 60 Hz - 1280 x 768p - 60 Hz - 1360 x 768p - 60 Hz - 1280 x 1024p - 60 Hz - 1920 x 1080p - 60 Hz As i know xbox one x does not support 1080i, so with specs of my TV i will stuck on 1080p 30 Hz? Thanks.

    Conker: Live and Reloaded not working (360)

    I recently downloaded Conker: Live and Reloaded off of the 360 market, and it doesn't seem to want to work. I download it but when I try to start it it just gives me and error message saying the game can't start and suggests I redownload the game. Well, I did that and I still get nothing.

    I heard something about making sure your HD isn't third party, but mine definitely isn't. On the system menu for the hard drive it says Microsoft, so I assume it's a first party hard drive.

    Anyone have any idea of what the problem is?

    Xbox Wireless Elite Series 2 Controller Compatibility For IOS

    Hey everyone, idk if this has been posted here but the xbox elite series 2 controller is not compatible on IOS devices, I spent $200 dlls on the controller to play on my iPhone 11 but it just won't connect, I've done research nd everything and the conclusion is that we need to let Apple know about this problem, please help spread this information and go to www.apple.com/feedback and tell Apple to make the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller compatible on IOS. If we all give our feedback and start making noice Apple will see it. Help And spread the voice please. Thanks everyone.

    Xbox 360 Kinect

    Is there a way to view the kinect camera on the xbox 360? I'm offline and can access the kinect settings, but cannot find a way to display what the camera is seeing on my screen. Any help?

    Xbox one controller not responding.

    I just got a new controller and it seems to not be working properly. I connected it to my Xbox and it turns on and works for a few seconds but then just become unresponsive. The light is still on in the middle but the controller won't do anything unless I take the batteries out and put them back in. After doing this it will do the same thing. Not sure if this is fixable or if I should take it back for a new one?

    Xbox one switch sign in

    So I have the xbox one/xbox live ultimate game pass and I sign in on my sons console and then switch to his profile. This allows him to plays games upto his age restriction and time limits I set including age appropriate content I own or have through xbox pass etc.. My account is passkey protected on sign but I've just noticed he can get around that by just switching to my profile!

    Is there no option to require passkey every time you switch back to your profile as it seems a flaw considering you need to signed in to access my content. This is not my home console as my other son has that in his room....

    TLDR:

    Can you make switching back to an already signed in profile require passkey?

    How do you fix double NAT type?

    Does anyone know if I can have a controller connected to controller port 4 and still play single player games? My OG Xbox (2001) doesn't have a functioning far-left controller port

    Im considering that i might go working abroad this year and want to take my xbox with me. There's just this one small issue:

    1. Chances are high that there will be only really bad wifi with a lot of interruptions where im gonna live.

    2. The TV (if theres one already in my room) would probably be a tube TV of the late 90s/early 2000s

    So how do i setup the console to be compatible with what i have. What kinda cables do i need and is it even possible to play downloaded games like cod mw (2019) etc. offline?

    Games where you build bases and defend them?

    Any recommendations for games where you build bases or communities then defend them? Like State of Decay 2 but not a massive let down (juggernaut remake pending).

    I looked at 7 days to die but there's no npcs and I looked at FrostPunk but it's like 10 hours long....

    Cannot access online in XBox Live games because of parental control settings

    I've seen others have the same problem, but not quite like I have it: neither I nor any of my family members know anything about this parental control thing, yet somehow I am a member in someone's XBox family and changing my privacy settings doesn't affect my issue.
    Does anyone know why this happened and how I could revert whatever changed?

    Alternatively, is there a way for me to see which family has apparently "adopted" me?
