• Was doing some late night schoolwork with the lights off in my room and heard something rustling around my desk. Turned my phone flashlight on, and it looks like I'm not the only one in my house that likes the Xbox 360.
• Will they ever be collectibles?

High resolution cover art templates for old games Posted: 07 Dec 2019 10:22 PM PST Here's an album of a bunch of old game covers in super high res: https://imgur.com/a/cHopkMB Hi guys! I've always been frustrated with how messy xbox 360 covers are on the internet, so I made high-resolution photoshop templates of the 4 main cover variations for some much needed uniformity. I did my best to match them to the actual physical covers. I can't imagine much purpose for this (Maybe updating database images?), but it's fun to play around with and is pretty nostalgic. I also spent waaay too much time on this. First, I found official cover templates. I found one for the oldest variation from the american idol manual PDF and another for the 2010 variation from from Metro Last Lights publishers open repo. These provided precise dimensions of the cover: 1529 / 2158. I then downloaded a boatload of PDFs of game manuals because they contain the original digital (and scalable) header assets such as the gradient backgrounds, stripes, text, and logos. Though most have low quality images, some have really nice assets like the one for Red Dead Redemption and Table Tennis. I then extracted each asset from the PDF into a photoshop project until I had original high resolution headers. Using some google-fu, you can find a high resolution cover to apply to the template to get good results. Issue with Oblivion GOTY edition Posted: 08 Dec 2019 10:29 AM PST Hi all, I recently got back into the 360 by buying a 2nd hand 250gb slim, and bought the game of the year edition of Oblivion at the same time. I'm having a problem with the game as it keeps sticking every so often - in that I get maybe 5 minutes of play, then the game sticks for about 30 seconds then continues as normal. I had the game back in the day and this never happened, is this a known issue? I've not had any problems with any other games, but could it be the do console? I am going to have a break for Christmas and I thought of getting a few to have fun with during that time.
