This was in no way my fault, I made sure it was not my main account I was changing but I guess it still happened. The problem is the original name isn't 12 letters like the new guidelines. It's important that I try everything to get it back seeing how much sentimental value me and my father have. We created this together 12 years ago, and to lose it makes me sick to my stomach. I know it might seem silly but this is very personal for me. If there is anyone that could see this and help that would be greatly appreciated! I just need one person that can help to see this! | IPv6 causing ping issues in multiplayer games. Posted: 08 Dec 2019 01:40 PM PST I recently enabled IPv6 on my router as my old one wasn't capable and I finally got around to it. I frequently play rainbow six siege and typically have a <15 Ms ping. I get a gig down and have about 70Mbs up. After enabling IPv6 I started noticing my ping randomly spiking all the way up to 150ms with it typically only going to 80. I noticed people teleporting along with enemies not being on my screen but dying by them(a lot more than normal). After disabling IPv6 on my router I stopped having these issue and my ping sits at about 11 99% of the time. I'm making this post to find out why this may be happening/also for others who may be experiencing similar issues. IPv6 is supported by my ISP. [link] [comments] | ||

| Cant hear my friend on the xbox companion app Posted: 08 Dec 2019 12:01 PM PST So Ive been trying to play mw with a friend (i am on pc and he is xbox) and we are having a hell of a time trying to talk. Yesterday we tried for half an hour to add eachother on every platform in everyway possible (through mw itself, xbox gamertags didnt work, blizzard, throught the websites...) and the only way we got that to work was he sent an xbox message then that got me to his profile to add him. And now we cant hear eachother in the xbox app party. We can join eachother but his mic is just inactive for me and theres nothing i can find online that has the solution for this specific problem. Im starting to thing its a problem on our ISP side, any help or ideas? He can hear me i think he said yesterday though, we had the chat working for a couple games before it crashed and now we cant reconnect, idk how it worked the first time but it just wont let us talk. even on snapchat i cant connect to peoples calls [link] [comments] | ||

I unplugged it and turned it back on and it says I'm not connected to Xbox live. So I go to my network settings and under current network status it says wireless but then the graphic shows the wireless symbol completely dulled out like there's no signal. If I click "go offline" nothing happens, and if I click "disconnect wireless" again, nothing. When I go to "Test Network connection" it says everything's fine I'm connected to the internet. And when I try to set up a wireless network it doesn't show any.. I'm super confused and can't get anything to work. [link] [comments] | ||

| You can’t acquire this item in your currently selected language Posted: 08 Dec 2019 08:46 AM PST Hi All, I just an XBOne recently and I purchased a game I really wanted for a very long time (Dungeon Siege 3). I live in the UK and I bought the Xbox and the game in the UK. First it was from AllKeysShop and when I tried adding the key directly in XBox it would say: "You can't acquire this item in your currently selected language. Change your language region in Settings or go to microsoft.com//redeem". So I tried changing the language region but none would work. So I though I got a dodgy key, I got a refund and bought one from Game.co.uk at full price. But to my surprise it ended up the same. So I tried changing more language regions but none of them would impact the key activation. I would greatly appreciate any advice to make this game work. It looks like it's a Xbox 360 game but says compatible with XB One. I also tried to redeem via mobile and web browser but it just said it has to be done in Xbox Thank you. [link] [comments] | ||
| Original Xbox One Start-Up Issue Posted: 08 Dec 2019 06:28 AM PST So this original Xbox One hasn't been hooked up in well over a year. It turns on just fine. The Xbox start up screen with the logo comes up and then after about 3-4 minutes, then the screen goes completely black. I've read up on the "black screen of death" and have tried all the possible solutions. I can't hear the dashboard slides or anything like that. I can hold down the controller home button and it'll bring up the console shutdown/reset menu but that's all that I can see. Anyone have any solutions/questions? I can take a video if necessary.
