    Please help. My account and profile is on my parents family plan, but I can't access Xbox online settings and I have changed my DOB to view over 18+ content. I'm sad because I can't download paints or even access the auction house.

    Which Xbox should I buy?

    Just like the very first Xbox 20 years ago, I want to buy a new Xbox just so I can play Halo.

    This will be the third time I've done this. I bought a used 360 so I could play Halo 4 for a while then I sold it.

    Halo: Infinite looks effing sweet and I definitely want to pick up an Xbox so I can play it. The thing is, I'm out of the loop and I cannot make sense of the hardware. Apparently there's an Xbox One S, an Xbox Series S and an Xbox Series X, all for sale right now.

    I don't need the nicest one because I'm literally buying it just to play one game. So I'm pretty sure that rules out the Xbox Series X.

    Between the Xbox One S and the Xbox Series S, it looks like only the Xbox One S has an optical drive. But it also looks like that's older hardware and I don't know if that would impact gameplay. I don't want some laggy crappy experience. Is that something I need to worry about? If I got the Xbox Series S can I simply purchase and download Halo or do I have to subscribe to some Game Pass crap? I really don't want to be tied to a subscription service, I just want to play my game.

    Any advice is much appreciated!

    Xbox series X power issue

    To anyone that could help, My Xbox series x has been working fine since I got it after the release, however the past few days, when I just press my console off it will turn off but turn right back in after a couple seconds. The only way it will stay off is if I hold the power button for a hard turn off, even if I unplug the power cord and back in it will turn on again. Anyone that has seen it or could help would be greatly appreciated!

    Xbox Serial Number Recovery

    Hey all, I know I may not be in the right place but im hoping the Xbox community can help a fellow Xboxer, I'm posting on behalf of my husband who is a huge gamer and has been all his life. We recently learned his storage unit containing all his consoles and games was broken in to, and we need to find a way to retrieve the serial numbers from his missing consoles as his ex tossed the boxes, and we don't have them in writing anywhere. Does anyone have any suggestions how we can do this? I'm thinking his Xbox Live account may have cached the info?

    The stolen consoles include Xbox Original Xbox slim white Xbox slim R2D2 Star Wars edition Playstation 2 Playstation 3 Nintendo GameCube Nintendo Wii Nintendo 64 Plus all controllers and wires, and all his Xbox one games as that is the only unit we thankfully removed prior to this incident, but left the games behind.

    I'm a computer nerd but my skills only go so far, I'm hoping the gaming community can help point us in the right direction so we can hopefully recover his stolen items.

    Am I dumb? Where is the new remote play option in Xbox app?

    I read about a month ago that you can now remote play your Series S/X from the new Windows 10 Xbox app. I have updated the app and windows and can see cloud gaming but I am not seeing any remote play option or tab. Am I blind?

    Why does region lock exist

    In some cases im deeply confused why does region lock exist i cant play sea of thieves or the outer worlds because guess what they are region locked and the game pass aswell how does ea have a subscription that works in estonia but xbox subscriptions dont work even ubisofts subscriptions work what the hell

    Modern warfare won’t install

    I own an Xbox one x and recently decided to start playing call of duty modern warfare again after not playing for several months. I put the disc in and have attempted to get it to update multiple times. After refusing to update I uninstalled the entire game, reinstalled all the packs and the base game still will not install no matter what I do. I cleared all my local games and attempted again and it still won't work, has anyone else got some ideas?

    Xbox hates my house

    Ok, starting around 2 weeks ago my brothers xbox one started playing up and couldn't load a single game or app and just came up saying it took too long to load. We tried EVERYTHING to fix the problem including a hard reset but it simply didn't work. Of course as the console was second hand and seven years old we sorta just accepted this.

    However just a week after this, my xbox one s started having the same problem which was very confusing since I bought it new in December 2018. We again tried almost everything ( I didn't hard reset because it didn't work for my brother and I didn't want to lose my games) and it kept on coming up with the taking too long message.

    This morning my brother bought a new Xbox Series S in a hope it would work and after setting it all up and starting to download a few games it again came up with the fatal took too long to load message and nothing would download either.

    Please if you have an inkling of information we would love the help. I am happy to give further information about the issue if it is so needed.

    <<<<< I have a playstation and a switch and they are both working fine. It is just the xboxs

    Cross Play Between Xbox 360 and Xbox One?

    Both me and my friend own a copy of Borderlands 2, however he owns an Xbox 360 copy of the game, whereas I own an Xbox One copy of the game (Both of us are on Xbox One consoles). We are unable to play together for this reason, is it plausible to ask Microsoft to upgrade his copy to an Xbox One version of the game so we can play together?

    It's also good to note that you can't buy Borderlands 2 by itself anymore, you have to buy it through the Handsome Collection or the Legendary Collection.

    I just bought an xbox series x, my first ever console, and i bought game pass ultimate. Its valid for 8 months, came with gold live and EA access. Now im confused, will the gold live and EA access be also for 8 months or are those only for 1 month? Or maybe some other thing?

    Is Left 4 Dead 2 still supporting multiplayer?

    For some reason, my Xbox One S has no internet connection when playing Left 4 Dead 2 specifically. It does detect internet on other games, just not Left 4 Dead 2. Is it only me this is happening to?

    No option or notification to share audio when friends are streaming

    I have an Xbox Series X and just recently have noticed that when friends start streaming I am the only person in our group that doesn't get a notification or option in Party Chat to share my audio. I started a Broadcast on my own Twitch to see if my friends were able to share their audio and they didn't have any issues.

    I checked my privacy settings and permissions and everything applicable seems Open and good. Nothing has changed since I was last able to share which must have only been a few weeks ago.

    I tried googling this issue and can't seem to find any helpful troubleshooting. Any help or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
