    Home Unlabelled Xbox 360 - Got that 2008 Xenon in the mail. Seller said it was untested so I grabbed the right power brick and component and hooked it up to find the coveted blades dash and a game in the drive! Works great too.

    360 S Power Supply with 360 E?

    I found an Xbox 360 E in a thrift store for 5 bucks, with no power supply ( but a free copy of Halo 3 in the disc slot!). I later found a 360 S power supply for 3. I later discover that they are not compatible, and I need a converter. I buy a converter, thinking it was for S to E, but it was for the ORIGINAL 360 power supply to the E. Now I have a bunch of components and no way to turn on the stinking Xbox!

    So, I have three options. A, I just get an E power supply, which costs more than I like. B, I get a Slim, which I prefer design wise, but that's even more costly. C, I cut off the ends of the power supply and converter and make a hack job to power the E. A bit risky until I figure out positives and negatives, but I do have the kit required to make it work. What should I do?

    Why did my ‘new’ to me 360 E model start like an old car?

    So I just got it used and plugged it in and it turned on and then immediately off. I adjusted the cables and it did the same thing.

    I continued to turn it on and it started staying on for 10 seconds, then 30 seconds, then a minute,

    I adjusted the power cables 1 more time and did the same thing and now it seems to run fine.

    It's like the system needed primed to start or something lol! Should I have any concerns about it breaking permanently? It hadn't been used in a long time apparently.

    360 S Help

    Just got a 360 S, when I boot GTA IV it says it's downloading an update but it never actually installs it. Happens each time I boot the game, any suggestions? Thanks
