Has anyone else had this severe problem? Posted: 31 Aug 2021 12:11 PM PDT I have been having a problem with my Xbox one X that has continued for 2 days now. I would like to know if anyone else has had the same problem, and if I should be concerned about what is happening to my Xbox. I first noticed something strange happening 2 days ago when I got online and tried to log into the Spotify app so I could listen to lofi while doing homework. When I clicked on the app it loaded up the initial screen, but stayed on that screen where it just shows the Spotify logo then it would just stop loading the app. I wouldn't get an error code, just a message that said the app took too long to load. I tried multiple times to open it, but I got the same result. I then decided to try YouTube since I figured something could be happening on Xbox's end, but nope same thing happened there and for all my other apps. I could still play games normally, but all my apps did not load. I "fixed" this problem by unplugging my Xbox while I did homework then once I was finished I plugged it back in, my apps worked after this, but then the BIG problem has started after that. Yesterday I tried to turn on my Xbox one x for the same lofi reason, but when I turned it on the screen stayed black. When I pressed the B button the screen turned a light grey then went back to pitch black. Eventually after waiting for a few minutes the Xbox turned off on its own. I did this several times and it happened again several times, so I unplugged it again and it started to work for a bit until the Xbox would randomly turn off on its own. The screen would go black, I could still hear the music in the background then BOOM the Xbox turned off and the black screen on start up happened again. The same thing would happen when I played Apex and Chivalry 2, everything would work fine then it would go to a black screen, I could hear background noise and my friends talking, then my Xbox would turn off. I haven't turned back on my Xbox since yesterday because I'm worried I might damage it further, but has anyone else had this same problem before and would you know how to solve it? I hope I don't have to buy a new Xbox because I would want a upgrade and I think we all know how well everyone's upgrades are going with all the scalpers around… Again if anyone has had this problem before please let me know what I should do to fix this situation (Sorry for the long post I wanted to put all details in) [link] [comments]

But if it's already paired and I try to connect it'll connect and disconnect constantly every second. I tried updating it with the accessories app but that just crashes at 0%. why is an xbox one more expensive than a series S still? Posted: 31 Aug 2021 10:36 AM PDT So when I got my series S I gave my son my old dead workhorse known as the xbox one. It literally had to be factory reset once a month, then once a week, and then came last week. I had to full on factory reset it and sign back into all his accounts and the streaming accounts 3 times in under 36 hours. So I thought screw this ill just get him another xbox one. But I quickly realized you can't get an original xbox one since they stopped making them and the xbox one S is like 60 dollars more than the series S. How does it make sense that a less powerful machine that is this old costs this much more than it's current gen counterpart? I ended up just buying another series S because I wanted to save money. I just feel bad for some kid who's been waiting to get his next gen xbox and finds a xbox one S on his birthday because his mom thought logically that the more expensive one has to be better. Posted: 31 Aug 2021 02:11 PM PDT started installing red dead 2 earlier today, left the house and left it on while it was installing and it went into rest mode while I was gone. I tried to turn it on and I can't sign in, and it takes about 10 minutes to load literally anything. anyone know why or how to fix it? I tried restarting it twice, unplugged it for about 5 minutes the second time and nothing has changed. [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Aug 2021 10:06 AM PDT GameStop has them for preorder if you have a pro account. It's their way to stop scalpers and bots from buying multiples. And GameStop doesn't charge until it ships for you guys who don't necessarily have the funds [link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Aug 2021 01:25 PM PDT I have just got an NM-740 for my Xbox and I would like to upgrade its firmware to a D-link 108AG, so that it will support WPA security. The problem is that I can't find the files anywhere. Does anyone have them and if so, would you let me have a copy please. [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Aug 2021 01:24 PM PDT so i have a series s and usable space in my ssd is 364 GB right? well, all of the games in my ssd add up to 255 GB so I should have 109 GB more available, right? then is there someone here to explain me why do I have only 68 GB available? am I missing something here? or is there something wrong? EDIT: I did the same math for my external hdd, and it adds up perfectly. I think I'm gonna reset my console if i can't find a solution for this [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Aug 2021 09:19 AM PDT If I buy a USB external hard drive, put for example: Halo on it. Can I unplug that hard drive from my Xbox and then plug it into my friends Xbox and halo will already be installed? Or would it have to be installed again? If I need to explain it better, let me know. [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Aug 2021 12:57 PM PDT I don't have much time to play (1-2 hours per night) and so I'm looking for a few games to easily log in do some games and log off. I'm trying to quit WoW since the game isn't that great anymore. I prefer multiplayer, both coop and pvp. I get tired fast of single player games. [link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Aug 2021 12:12 PM PDT I've been a Playstation guy for quite a while. I have a PS5. but I've been coming to the realization that a lot of older games from the 6th/7th console generation perform better on Xbox, or have better versions of games (ie Ghost Recons, Burnout, Medal of Honors, Bethesda titles ect). I've been wanting to replay a lot of older games from those generations. I've been looking at getting a One X (for backwards compat purposes. Was wondering if a lot of games are 'enhanced' by the console itself, or if that's soley a series X thing? Or if I'm better off just waiting to get a Series X? Thoughts? [link] [comments] |
