    With my main focus now on the 360, I have been finding some awesome games lately. I went to a couple of local game stores yesterday and found the following games. I was cool finding Asterix, even while not actively collecting for the 360 I had never seen the game before.

    "Xbox Live" rebrands to "Xbox Network".

    It seems M$ is doing a rebrand to Xbox Live, changing it's name to "Xbox network" (yeah, no capital on that "n" for whatever reason). Not sure what will mean to us, Xbox 360 players, but let's hope for free gold.

    Burnout Paradise cannot be played on Xbox 360 if you don't have the updates already installed.

    Here's the TL,DR of what happened to me the past couple of days:

    • I have Game Pass Ultimate and EA games are included in it. Saw Burnout Paradise Remastered is one of the games. Installed it, played it a little. Saves from the original version aren't imported in the new one, so I have to unlock everything again.
    • I fire up my Xbox 360, put my original disc in the drive, and it works well. I had all DLCs installed, and my good old save with all cars unlocked is there.
    • I install the digital version of Burnout Paradise, which I own too thanks to Games with Gold, on my X1. I launch the game, and to my surprise I start the game from scratch. It didn't load my cloud save.
    • After going back and forth, it looks like my cloud save has been overwritten with an empty one. I lost I don't know how many hours from 10+ years ago.

    Frustrated and angry is an understatement. Plus, the original version is not playable anymore on Xbox 360, since the game and all related content has been unlisted. You cannot download the updates since they don't exist.

    Conclusion: before you install and launch a Xbox 360 game on your X1, go fire up your Xbox 360 and make a backup of your saves to a USB stick. That way, you can replace the cloud save if it overwrites your old one.

    You learn of your mistakes, as they say. Can't believe cloud saves can get overwritten so easily, without warning. It's maddening.

    Xbox blowing warm/cold air?

    Hello guys. I got a fat Jaster 360 with MFR 2010-01-05.

    The last console i owned was a ps2. So.. i'm really new to this system.

    Is my xbox supposed to blow air from the back? (I have it sitting horizontal) it's not really hot air, it's just slightly warm.

    I have an old Elite model and want to start playing stuff on it again. Problem is, I have a minecraft disc that i have tried to run, but it either comes up blank or shows as "Unrecognized Disk" I dont know if this is a hardware problem or a disk problem, since it is pretty scratched up. Any help.
