- The little dot fell of the trigger adjuster on my Elite Series 2 controller, it still works but it’s very sharp without the dot and it’s uncomfortable. I got the controller for christmas, does my warranty cover this or is there a way I can fix it myself without risking ruining it? Thanks!

Posted: 05 Jul 2021 02:20 AM PDT Hi, I would like to share my FINAL set of professionally Calibrated Settings for all LG 2017-2021 OLEDs and Xbox One/Series X|S / PS4 / PS5 gaming, with the best PQ and lowest Input-Lag results possible (from 7ms to 21ms based on model), including Dolby Vision and webOS in-built Apps calibration. These are actual meter based calibration settings using a certified Spectracal C6 meter, Murideo 6G pattern generator, and CalMan for Biz + disc based + direct feedback with both games, tv shows and movies gathered in 4+ years of usage. Yeah, I know, "real calibration cannot be copy/pasted from TV to TV as they're all different" , but tested LG OLED variance between models is much lower then average, and even within a 3% variance you will still experience a much more accurate image compared to default presets, plus CMS and WB advanced options weren't touched, so you're not risking of dialing in wrong values. There are 6 Profiles to independently 1-time-Calibrate for each source/content combination, and then forget about it. In order to do it, just change the video source to the one you want to calibrate (for example: webOS Netflix app, or to HDMI1 connected to Xbox One|Series X / PS4 Pro or PS5) and then load up the type of video content you want to calibrate (for example: launch an SDR Game, or an HDR Game, or a Dolby Vision movie). Once you're ready, apply those Calibration Presets (you can also print them for convenience) for 2017-2018 Series:
These settings are tailor made and compatible with ALL 2017 LG OLEDs variants (e.g. LG B7, C7, E7 etc), but you can also try it for 2018 line up . If you have a 2019-2021 LG OLED, see the chart below Overall Recommended Settings Chart for C9/CX/C1 Imgur Link -> https://i.imgur.com/4cMrUSG.png & also Xbox HDR Calibration below: Imgur Link -> https://i.imgur.com/wK8Etji.png Now you're ready to enjoy the best visual quality out of your LG OLED (2017 to 2021 series) and your gaming console, while also being 100% ready for future Dolby Vision games on Xbox :) Let me know what you think! Cheers, -P [link] [comments]

Two Xbox Ones in the same house. Can we share games? Posted: 05 Jul 2021 07:57 AM PDT Hi! I have just started getting into gaming during quarantine, so forgive me if I'm missing some obvious :) My boyfriend and I live together and recently have been wanting to play games at the same time, so I just bought my own console (we originally just both played on his console at separate times). Is there a way to download games from his console and play them on mine? I have so many games on his Xbox that I don't want to lose! We had the thought of downloading them onto my external hard drive and then possibly being able to play them on my Xbox, but I saw a post saying it would have to be signed into his account in my Xbox since the games are under his account. Can we both be signed in and playing games at the same time? If it makes any difference, I wouldn't be playing on Xbox live on my console. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]

low frames issue on older consoles Posted: 05 Jul 2021 08:52 PM PDT I got my xbox one in June of 2014 and recently i've been receiving frame issues on some of the games I play (dead by daylight and apex legends being the main ones) I just want to know if there's a way fix these issues or if my console is just old and dying. Posted: 05 Jul 2021 08:43 PM PDT I'm normally a Playstation user, i've been thinking about getting an Xbox for a while, got told about the game pass ultimate from a friend and that put the nail in the coffin for wanting one. I'm just not very informed about Xbox's and was wanting input on which one I should get. I really want to get some old games because PS4 isn't compatible. First thought is an Xbox one but i'm not sure if those are still worth the money, but if they are im down to get one. i'd rather not get something super expensive like an Xbox series X. Thank you for reading ^ [link] [comments]

Best quality headset microphone? Posted: 05 Jul 2021 07:27 PM PDT I currently use Astro A40s with a mixamp, which are comfortable and the headphones themselves sound good, but the mic quality of it is just awful (usually get told i sound like im in a fishbowl or talking into a plastic cup) and im wondering if anyone has any 3.5mm headset mic recommendations that sound high quality (i dont expect anything like a yeti/usb mic, but anything that sounds decent for streams and such). Really don't care much about the incoming sound quality, just need something with a good microphone. Any and all help appreciated! Price is not much of an issue but ideally do not want to spend more then needed. [link] [comments]

One X worth buying for a casual gamer? Posted: 05 Jul 2021 08:19 PM PDT Hi! I'm a very light gamer, and like playing some games for fun (not competitively), and don't really care for "the latest". Some games I like to play are FIFA, the Far cry series, NFS, and star wars battlefront. I've never owned a console before, and can't see justifying a $500+ console (unless I really get into it, then I guess I could upgrade in the future). I would like to have disc capability since I want to use it to play blu-ray movies as well. So if I get a one x for about $200, should I pick it up? What should I be aware of? Will games become incompatible/disappear from the store? Will support get difficult? Thank you! [link] [comments]
Does Spotify have a max time for podcasts? Posted: 05 Jul 2021 04:11 PM PDT Recently I noticed that a 4 hour podcast I like to listen to was only displaying as 1 hour on the Xbox Spotify app. I have also noticed, after an issue with my account, that it does not co-operate very well when trying to listen to anything after the 1hr point. This doesn't happen on anything other than the console. Is this an issue, or is this part of Spotify's design? [link] [comments]
Xbox remote doesn’t pair with iPad or iPhone Posted: 05 Jul 2021 07:17 PM PDT I am trying to pair my Xbox Series X with my iPad but it is not discoverable even after clicking the pairing button. Sometimes it can find the remote but it will not work because the pairing took too long. Any ideas of what can I do to solve this issue? [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Jul 2021 10:34 AM PDT I know that Xbox one games and PS4 games scrapped the manuals but were Platinum Hit games released after like 2013 for Xbox 360 released without a manual or booklet? [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Jul 2021 08:24 AM PDT Hey there Xbox community, I'm new to the Xbox One and wanted to ask you guys a few questions. For about 6 years I've been playing games on my PC. I've been playing Morrowind and Knights of The Old Republic on OG Xbox since then. It recently died and instead of repairing it, I thought I'd save for a new one. But now, I've unexpectedly recieved an Xbox One Kinect as a gift and after reading up think it will change a lot of things for me going forward. My questions: 1.) Digital vs physical games. Which is better? I want to play Skyrim SE , Battlefront 2, and Rdr2 Ultimate, but see that a new copy from GameStop is about 1/3rd the price. Is it really that simple? Are there perks to digital games on console other than the time for delivery? Do physical copies take up less room on the console? 2.) What's modding like? I honestly never knew Xbox had such great modding capabilities. Is it hassle free? I've modded Skyrim heavily over the years and it seems Xbox can do all the same stuff. Though I've read digital and gamepass copies set limits for how one can mod. (No SKSE for example) 3.) Does Xbox One compare poorly to Xbox One X? I know there's differences but is it really a big deal? I know there's load time, draw distance, and resolution improvements in Xbox one x but nothing too crazy right? It's free so I'm not complaining either way. 4.) Gamepass. Is it worth it? What can I expect? That's about all I had to ask. I realize. I could Google this stuff but I wanted community and player opinions on the matter. Much appreciated! [link] [comments] |
