- Just over 7 years after launch, I went back to Titanfall and got the last missing achievement. Happy July 4th!
- So I ordered a black Xbox 360 (the one with no wireless connection) and later a wireless networking adapter from DKoldies. The Xbox 360 seem to be all fine but doesn't let me connect wirelessly. I would like to know if its the adapter, the system, my router, or something else

Posted: 04 Jul 2021 09:06 AM PDT I have an original Xbox 360. I have quite a few games with it and don't want to upgrade to a new generation of Xbox. My Xbox turns on but it crashes after about 10 minutes of use. I've cleaned it multiple times, I've tried laying it upright because I thought it was over heating. (This might be the issue but not sure why it does it so fast constantly) I know the fan on it isn't the greatest on these consoles. I've had it for years and have some games for it that I love to play (my favorite is civil war made by the history channel) I've looked up online and have found different things to try to help it from over heating so fast, (install the game so it doesn't work the console, etc) nothing seems to work. It's never had the ring on it (I know what the rings mean and how many means what) I've used it so much and have never had problems with it up until now. I do have a PS3 but I've had so many good memories with my Xbox. It's gotten me through Boredom when I got my first apartment. My fiancé says to just get rid of it and I don't want to unless I can get an upgraded 360. I am 24 so the 360 and ps3 generation is my fondest memories of staying up late playing with my friends online. Any other suggestions any one might have as to why this is happening please help. Some might understand my reasoning of trying everything I can before I have no choice but to give it up. [link] [comments]

Help with xbox 360E not starting after some month in sleep Posted: 04 Jul 2021 12:20 PM PDT Hi, I wanted to use my xbox 360E after it was off some months. I never had any issues with it but somehow there nothing happens when I start it. The ring LED is just green and my controllers do not want to connect to it. Tried different TV/monitors but there is no image shown. Is there anything I could do? The power supply does not have any strange colors. [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Jul 2021 08:20 AM PDT So, my Xbox 360 is not turning on all of a sudden, and I suspect the power supply is at fault. When plugging in the cord to the wall socket, the LED on the brick turns orange, which I found out is the "standby" color. However, when plugging in the cord to the console, it stays orange, and the console doesn't turn on, when normally the LED would change to green and the console would start. Before I buy a new power supply, is there any way I can fix this, or is the console at fault? [link] [comments]

My left thumbstick is drifting Posted: 04 Jul 2021 06:48 AM PDT Hello, I need to know if there is a way to repair or replace an Xbox 360 controller for minimal cost. I normally have no problem with my 360 controllers, however, I just found out one of my controllers is drifting to the right and I want to know how to replace or fix the problem. Thank you for hearing me out. [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Jul 2021 12:15 AM PDT Hi everyone, so I am new to Xbox 360 coming from Playstation. I am trying to understand more of hard drives on the 360 since I understand that it wasn't as easy as it was with PS3 since back then you had to get the official ones and what not. Well anyway since the info I tend to online is outdated or unclear, I want to ask the experts here... What's the largest HDD the 360 would support using official firmware? I know the highest official one was 500GB but I know you can like use some HDDs and put some sort of patch on it to make it work with the 360 and have BC with original Xbox games (Which I really need some I am collecting original Xbox titles) Could this work for 1TB or 2TB HDDs? What about SSDs? Is it possible to have an internal SDD running on a 360? I hope what I am saying makes sense. Thanks for any help as well. [link] [comments] |
