I had unplugged my 360 several months ago and had it just sitting in my entertainment stack until I tried to connect it back and play yesterday. Unfortunately, I was greeted almost immediately with the red ring (though the player 2 light doesn't come on, the rest flash.) In my limited troubleshooting so far, I noticed that as soon as the console power light comes on, but just before the player lights start flashing red a couple instants later, the light on my power supply switches from amber to green very briefly, and then back to amber before the console actually red rings, so I'm betting my problem is here. Unfortunately, my searches have mostly just led to potential malware infections that were fortunately trapped in my browser, and a 12 and 20 pin connector pinout for the original Xbox that looked like an ATX motherboard connector to me. Has anyone found the pinout for the power connector so that I can test it in detail? I believe it is one of the first models to have the HDMI connector, but not the Kinect. It also had a chrome disk tray faceplate. I'm assuming it is of the Jasper line. I'm assuming there's a pin that I can put voltage on to bring the power supply up on the connector that connects to the 360.
