    My boyfriend is a big gamer, but I am not. I just recently got into playing with him and now I'm starting to get more into it. I'm very bad at hand-eye coordination, so shooting/time sensitive games are not really my forte. We've played A Way Out and It Takes Two, so those are more the type we're looking for. A split screen co-op with a storyline. We tried Haven, but the lack of a split screen made the controls pretty difficult and infuriating so a split screen is a must. :)

    edit: he told me to put preferably a mystery/adventure game since that's what I play on my PC (im a huge Nancy Drew nerd so I'm always playing her games)

    Xbox series X or Xbox series S? What do you guys think I should buy?

    Hello guys I'm looking for the new gen console, but I don't know what I should buy. I don't have a 4K TV (and I'm not planning to buy one in the next years), I don't care of 300Gb less of SSD because I play only 2 3 games at once and I don't really care if the console is digital or not. But I DO care if It runs a game at 60fps 1080p instead of 30fps 1080 (even though I know 30 fps is playable) and I DO care to play at better graphic settings (I don't really know if the Series X has better graphic settings apart of the 4k resolution and the framerate). So guys what do you think? Thank you

    Hi,

    Basically I've noticed that Halo MCC is installed on both my C & D Drives. Really I only want it on one (C Drive is fine) issue is how do I figure what one is active or if one is corrupt? I would hate to uninstall one but yet the other is corrupt or have I literally got to try it and see?

    Halo MCC most played game so not looking to sit out for it to download lol!

    Any help appreciated.

    Does FreeSync matter for a Series X?

    Hey, I'm shopping for a new monitor and I found an amazing deal on one, it checked all the boxes 27" 144Hz all the good stuff except FreeSync which I have a vague memory of it being important for the Series X, is it an actually important thing or should I just get this one?

    Headset mic for game chat not working

    My game chat on my xbox never works. It doesnt matter what game I play, or what headset I use. I can never hear other people in game chat and they cant hear me. I have tried many things to try and fix this. my xbox and controllers are all upto date. this has been a problem for a couple of years. Party chat works fine, Its just in game chat that doesnt work

    Does anyone know how to help?

    EDIT: I have used several controllers, all with the same problem. So I dont think the problem are the controllers

    Black Screen of Death?

    Hey all,

    I think my Day One Edition Xbox One is experiencing the black screen of death.

    I power on my xbox, I get the green xbox launch screen. Then the screen goes black and says "Hi (My Name)" nothing else.

    I can hold down the guide button to pull up shut down, restart, etc. but that's it.

    I have hard reset this thing too many time to count. (Holding down power until it's clicks off, then unplugging for 30 seconds.)

    Anyone able to help or give suggestions?

    Is it worth it?

    I've had the OG Xbox One since the year it came out. I love it and it's done me a great service over the years, but I feel like it's time for a bit of a performance upgrade!!

    I don't play Xbox enough to warrant spending the money for a Series X, and don't really have the interest in doing so, I don't play on a 4K TV, I'm happy with 1080 or 1440 which is the limit of my screen anyway. Most if not all of the games I play regularly are downloads anyway, I can't remember the last time I put a disk in my console.

    Is the Series S still a big enough jump to warrant it? I just like the sound of the increased performance and graphics, not to mention having an FOV slider and 60fps on Destiny 2 lol

    Plus for £250 it really is not that expensive in my opinion!

    Black screens on *both* Xbox one units at home

    I have two Xbox one consoles at home. Both of them are doing the same thing. Both are working fine earlier this afternoon. Pop up notifications show fine. I can even see the pop up when I ask Alexa to do something on the Xbox like launch settings or Skype. But the rest of the picture remains black. Pressing the Xbox button on the controller brings up nothing. If I hold down the Xbox button on the controller, the usual screen comes up asking if I want to turn off the controller, the Xbox, report a problem, etc. I've tried restarting that way, and also hard rebooting by holding the Xbox button on the Xbox itself down for 10 seconds and then turn on again. During boot, the usual green xbox logo screen shows, but then goes black once booted. It then says Hi Jessica when the Kinect sees me, but the rest of the screen stays black. Help!

    I currently have my xbox one s attached to a 27 inch monitor (which is also used as a second screen for my laptop) - Work is offering to pay for a new monitor to help WFH...
