| Wireless Xbox One Controller's Sensitivity is bugging out (PC) Posted: 31 May 2021 10:27 AM PDT I've never had any problems with this controller until now so this is very strange... When it first starts up its fine, but then it starts getting super picky and forces me to fully push the joystick to make it turn at max turn speed. Sometimes it does that and other times it just straight up locks the controls in a single direction and won't respond. This is only with the joysticks while all other keys are relatively fine beyond some responsive issues that aren't too worrying. This will go on and off at random while I'm playing games and sometimes fixes itself if I press a key on my keyboard. I've tried reinstalling drivers and relinking the controller but I can't get it to work wirelessly. I was however able to get it to work properly with a wired connection, but that just defeats the purpose of having a wireless controller... For a while I thought this was because of the controller's connection while in a game, but after some further testing with an input display I realized the controller's input was just entirely buggy regardless of where it was being used. My initial plan was to record gameplay and use an input display to show how I was or was not moving my joysticks irl and the game was giving elongated or void inputs, but the display showed that both the game and the input display were not getting any input: So it has something to do with the controller itself running wirelessly and works fine wired, but other than that and maybe the fact that I have a rechargeable xbox controller battery pack rather than regular batteries I have no clue what the problem is. | Xbox razer kaira dashboard issue Posted: 31 May 2021 01:40 PM PDT I bought the Razer kaira and i noticed when i press the xbox button the dashboard sound appears loud and clear for 2 seconds and then its quiet again and i cant hear if im scrolling right or left bassiclly the whole surround sound is gone.But when i turn on mic monitoring the dashboard sound is clear again and i here if im scrolling right or left and the audio is clear again.Am i the only one with that issue? | Xbox elite series 2 - PC Bluetooth disconnects after (wired) config Posted: 31 May 2021 10:54 AM PDT hi folks wondering if this is actually how the product works for PC users or if mine happens to have something faulty with the blue tooth. When I wire in the xbox elite series 2, typically to configure settings, it ALWAYS disconnects from bluetooth, requiring me to go into settings, forget device, and then re-pair the device. This isn't much of a headache, but for $180 + tax and all the "most advanced controller" touting, I need to know!! Sometimes the controller requires a PC reboot to show up on "pair a device" to save some time: -all firmware/drivers are updated on PC and on controller -no other issues on any other bluetooth device -can replicate issue on other PCs [link] [comments] | ||

| Looking for solutions: Recovering an Xbox Live account Posted: 31 May 2021 10:16 AM PDT Hello! My sister and I have had our Xbox 360 since like 2009-2010ish. Neither of us remember the password to our Xbox Live account, and unfortunately the email address that the account is tied to is one that our parents do not use or have access to anymore. They don't remember any of their login info for the account. We have tried to do a password reset without success and have filled out the account recovery form a few times without success. It appears that an automated system instead of an actual human is evaluating the form, which wouldn't surprise me at all. Has anyone ever run into this problem? Is there an actual phone number that we could call to speak to a real person? Before anyone passes judgement, we aren't super serious co-op(?) gamers. We mostly play multiplayer games together and haven't had much of a use for Xbox Live when playing multiplayer games. We maybe purchased 1-2 arcade-style games when we first got the system, and the rest of our games are hard copies. Since it was meant to be an account for our whole family to share and make a few purchases on, the parents wanted it to be tied to one of their email addresses. Our game progress has just automatically saved to this particular account regardless of our ability to log onto it. Since there are no new games being made for the 360 we have considered upgrading, but we have no way to transfer our saved game progress without that password. [link] [comments] | ||
| Online multiplayer arcade racing? Posted: 31 May 2021 10:08 AM PDT I'm a big fan of arcade racing games. Daytona USA, Hydro Thunder, Rush 2049, Cruisin, etc. I haven't found any games on Xbox that are similar in gameplay and that have online multiplayer with players. Most of what I have found are sim racing games or open world racing games. Neither of these appeal to me. I'd like something that players would like to play online and that are similar to the old arcade racing games. Is there anything out there like this? [link] [comments] | ||
| Sound cuts in and out on headset Posted: 31 May 2021 06:22 AM PDT I'm starting up Watchdogs legions and the sound will cut out for a second or 2 while I'm wearing my headset (Xbox Headset). I turned off dobey and restarted everything and the issue is still there. I had the same issue when I first started AC Valhalla too but could fix it with a refresh. [link] [comments] | ||
