    Long story short Sony recently really burned me. So I decided to seek out a series x, luck struck and one got ordered. So now I'll be able to game with my nephew and cousins, as well as enjoy the incredible game pass.

    Edit: thanks everyone! Really do appreciate it. For those that are curious as to what happened with Sony, I purchased a ps5 AND a massive Sony Bravia tv in February. My account was hacked 3 weeks ago and after multiple attempts of recovering I've basically been told I'm a liar and it's not my account, even tho years of bank records show otherwise. If that's how I'll be treated after a decade of being a loyal fan then I'm good I'll take my money elsewhere.

    Regardless I'll never be purchasing any digital games regardless of platform if physical copies are available.

    Xbox Series S Sync button unresponsive

    Got my new Series S a few days ago and connecting my controller has been a bit of a headache.

    I use "fast boot" mode which puts the console in standby, I am unable to turn the console on using the controller.. The controller just slow flashes and if I turn the Xbox on using the power button I am unable to sync the controller as the sync button on the console does absolutely nothing.

    Only fix ive found is to hard reset the console, and then the controller will connect. Has anyone been able to find a fix? Been seeing similar issues with some Series X models.

    I was thinking about this lately. The only reason I got my Xbox One sometime back was because of Game Pass with the Gold conversion trick. But without this trick, I'm not sure if I would personally stay subscribed for longer than a few months at a time. It's been nice to pay $181 for 3 years and not really have to think about it. How do you all feel? Would you still subscribe even if you had to pay the full price?

    But I suppose for roughly the same price as Netflix, I sure use it more than I do that service.

    So I recently found out that all of the movies I bought through the old Xbox360's Movies and TV app are available on my linked Amazon Video account and are watchable on the Prime Video mobile app. Which is a really welcome surprise, don't get me wrong, but of course now having discovered something I wasn't expecting to have I'm immediately hoping for more: the TV series I bought in the same 360 app don't appear to be owned on Amazon. Anybody know where else those wound up? Or, how these cross-licenses work at all? Microsoft Movies and TV shares movie licenses with Amazon but not TV licenses? They do but I'm doing something wrong? Something else?

    I've got so many accounts linked to so many other accounts at this point I have no idea where I'm a member or not, but I drunkenly blew a couple hundred dollars on a few entire series in the Movies and TV window and it'd be neat if I could watch them on the toilet without having to re-buy everything.

    Elite 2 controller paddle magnet

    My paddle magnet has slid up into the controller causing me to not be able to use my paddles I was wondering if there was an easy fix. I can't find anyone else online that has had this problem.

    Are there truck/off-roading games on Game Pass for 5 year olds?

    I haven't been able to find any but I also know that sometimes great games get lost in the masses.

    We recently purchased 2 games for our 5 year old's birthday — Monster Truck Championship and MudRunner ($39.99 with all expansions.) The monster truck game was cool but it limits you to 3 minutes per session and we both got tired of me having to come in and reset it for him every 3 minutes. The Mud Runner game really irritated me because the trailer made it look like you pick a truck and explore the world but, even on "Casual" difficulty, it's made for people who want something like a simulator and there's absolutely no way for a 5 year old to navigate the UI. (We should be able to try before we buy.)

    Anyway, I'm hoping someone has suggestions for games where he can just pick different cars and drive around different terrains without having to sink weeks of gameplay to unlock all the cars.

    Headphone Recommendations

    Still using my original Xbox One headset that came with the console back in like 8 or so years ago. Looking to upgrade but I don't necessarily need to break the bank for the top tier stuff. I would prefer cups around ears, as on ear headphones tend to give me a headache after a while. Obviously some kind of a wireless/bluetooth set up is great, but solid wired headsets will work just as fine for me 99% of the time.

    Really would appreciate any insight, suggestions, personal reviews anyone here has. I've never owned a gaming headset so I'm going in pretty blind.
