    Trying the free trial for Watchdogs Legion and on the PS5 the trial is for the PS4 version - but if I want the PS5 then I'll generate a separate trophy list.

    On Xbox, if I want to but the game from trial then it gets all done on the backend, one save, one achievement list.

    Smart delivery is really good.

    I was playing assassins creed valhalla while I was downloading skyrim to see it in glorious 60fps and when it finished I saved acv and immediately launched skyrim, Played for around 3 hours or so and felt an itch to play valhalla again and forgot about the amazingly impressive 'quick resume' and instantly loaded up to the save file screen.

    This feature is too impressive and how it works is totally futuristic and I love it!

    Why can't we buy the original XBOX version of GTA San Andreas? As you can see it's still on their website but there's no option to buy it.

    Split/Second is one of the most fun racing games made in my opinion and it would be amazing to see a sequel done for current gen.

    Forget your realistic true to life simulation racers and just have fun blasting around well built tracks with features that keep you on your toes while destroying the competition.

    Pure fun.

    If you use an Amazon Echo to control your Xbox with our voice, Amazon have finally fixed the video skills! (i.e. shorter voice commands)

    If you use an Amazon Echo to control your console with your voice, there are different categories of commands you can use. For example, if you want to record a game clip, the regular command is "Alexa, tell Xbox to record that", which is obviously a bit of mouthful.

    Alexa has something called video skills, which allows you to link a particular Echo to a particular console, which then enables you to use shorter phrases. For example, to capture a game clip you can say "Alexa, record that".

    Unfortunately, the video skills part of it broke some time last year so you were forced to use the longer commands. I contacted an MS dev about it who confirmed that they were broken. He said that it was an issue at Amazon's end, so he contacted them to let them know. Now, months later, it's finally fixed!

    This is just a heads up, cos I know a handful of people in here use an Echo with their console as we talked about this issue the other day.

    Oh yeah, for anyone who already has an Echo set up to control their console, this is how to link it to your console and enable the video skills: -

    Launch the Alexa app on your phone and click on "More" at the bottom right, then "Skills & Games". Click on "Your Skills" at the top, then click on the Xbox skill, then click the blue "Settings" button.

    Next, click on "Manage in TV & Video" and from there you can link a specific Echo to a specific Xbox, which will enable the shorter voice commands.

    EB games Xbox all Access (Canada)

    Has anyone successfully gotten approved for the EB games Xbox SX all access pass financing?
    I get a error saying it can't validate my identity. all info is correct to a T. never moved or changed any of my info for over 10 years.

    never failed a credit check in my life either. not sure how this one is rejecting. unless that's it's way of saying it can't sign any more people up?

    any help or suggestions would be appreciated if you've had this trouble with the program

    How do I buy the GTA 4 dlc (the Ballad of Gay) Tony on Xbox 1?

    I used to play this dlc more than the actual game years ago and was looking forward to playing it again once I got this old Xbox from a friend who was going to throw it away. I can't seem to find it on the Store page though. Anyone know why that is or any other way I could purchase and download it?

    Xbox was working 20 mins ago shut it off turn back no hdmi signal

    I was wondering if anyone has expiernced this fairly new Xbox one s I was playing it for about 30 mins earlier shut it off and walked away for 20 or so mins I come back and the tv says no hdmi signal I check all the connections and try all the hdmi ports nothing and my Xbox is on tried it with 2 diffrent cables and 2 diffrent TVs

    Does anyone else have issues reconnecting controllers to their Series X after disconnecting from walking away too far? I have to do a full shutdown and unplug the console to get it to reset its memory/connection to the controller

    I have removed and replaced the controllers battery, I have plugged the controller directly into the console itself, I have attempted software updates on both controller and console. I use different battery packs when replacing it and it happens across both of my controllers. I have also done all forms of power cycling the console, set to power saver and instant-on. Nothing works until it is completely disconnected from power.

    Since I have to plug my headset into my controller for audio during podcasts or YT I tend to take my controller with me as I walk around so I can still listen. But if I go too far and it disconnects I'm basically screwed until I completely power down the console and it's getting old. Really hope this is a fixable issue

    my gamertag shows its changed on my account but in game its still the same as the first one

    i changed my gamertag a while ago on the xbox website and it shows my new tag on my account but in minecraft it still shows my old one :/ does anyone know how to fix this

    Bizzare issue with mic and gamechat

    After issues with my old mic I bought a new one and at the same time bought a controller to have a spare.

    The new mic had the same echoing issues as the old mic and it has the added issue of if I boot up a game gamechat won't work unless I turn off the controller and plug the mic into the spare controller. It's happened with multiple games and I have to swap controllers no matter which one I boot the game up with. Same issue if I unplug the mic mid game.

    Works perfectly fine in party chat and on the PlayStation.

    Is the issue with the games, the controllers, the headset or the xbox?

    Would it be safe to velcro my external SSD on the top of my Xbox Series S?

    I move my Xbox around my apartment a lot so I want to stick a SSD to the console for portability.

    I'm planning to buy either a Samsung T5 or Sandisk Extreme Portable SSD and using velcro to stick the external drive to the top of the Xbox Series S (laid in a horizontal direction) without blocking the fan. These external SSDs are pretty small and light so my gut feeling is that there won't be any issues with doing this, but I wanted to see if people had any other thoughts? Any overheating or possible long term issues?
