    Great if you have the time to go through the library and get your money's worth. A lot of us don't. We only have time for a few games a year, and wouldn't get any value out of ultimate. I can justify $60 to play Warzone online. I can't justify $120. To people like me, this price increase isn't between paying $120 for Live or $140 for ultimate, it's between paying $120 for Live or going somewhere else.

    And that's saying something after the 2013 chronicles. I can't fathom how it went from pro-consumer to doubling down on a service that isn't any better than its main competitor.

    All of that good will and high-fives will be pissed away unless they backpedal soon. I use gamepass ultimate, but that doesn't take away of how shitty this move is. Microsoft, you did it again. You reminded me that you're still out of touch with gamers.

    If you think you've been scammed by the boost to XBox Live Gold's pricetag, there is a loophole to get the $60/year price back!

    This is for those who have upgraded to GP Ultimate already, but wish to drop back down before the price increase.

    I'll keep the steps short:

    1) Make sure your Gamepass Ultimate is completely removed from your account. You'll have to contact customer service to remove it if its already been paid for/renewed.

    2) Sign up for Gold under the $10/month or $25/quarter.

    3) Once signed up for gold, go to accounts.microsoft.com and access your subscriptions.

    4) Under you XBL Gold subscription, there should be an option to upgrade to the old $60/year price.

    5) Upgrade, and you're done!

    Microsoft has put out that the subscription price for those already subbed for a year will not be increased until you switch off of your plan, so if Gamepass isn't all that important to you, nab your cheaper year of Gold before it's too late!

    I usually buy my Gold passes on Ebay. If you get the VPN versions, it's even cheaper. If the prices are doubling, buy a bunch of subscription passes now. Should tide you over for a while.

    With that being said, the price raise is booty.

    I used to check my Achievement progress all the time in the app to see how close I was to specific things in my most recent games, but now with this new version I can't seem to find them.

    Is there even a way to view them in this updated version? Or did they remove the feature for whatever reason... I just want to see how close I am to completion in AC Valhalla
