Xbox 360 - what does that dot mean?

what does that dot mean?
Does anyone know who does cleaning service’s? Because I don’t feel the most comfortable taking it apart myself.
So this is my xbox that died a couple months ago I managed to fix it but something i never noticed until now is how LOUD it is usually because i play with headphones on but when i took the of to talk to someone i could this grinding noise is this normal?

So, I bought a 360 running blades without really realizing that it is the dreaded Xenon. I plan on opening it up at some point in the future to tale some preventive action against the RROD, but from what I've read, apparently not even that can be enough. I'm not sure why but I sincerely want to play some 360 games on a console running blades. I have another 360, a sleek model. I'm not really familiar with how JTAG consoles work, but I saw a video of someone just opening a specific file on his console that launched blades as an application pretty much. Could I do something like this on a console that was manufactured after blades was released?

decided to install shivering isles so i put in the second disk and installed the content. Then went back to disk 1 and waited 24 hours and nothing. Ive done this countless times now and it just wont appear. Any recommendations?

360 Freezes and has Artifacts Help

I went to play Borderlands 2 today, to find that the game wouldn't even go to the main menu before it freezes. Now if I take the disk out and load the 360 normally, It freezes before I sign in and has Artifacts. Like Black and white square with a cross in them in like 6 random places on the screen. I would clear the cache but the 360 won't let me on it long enough to do so. I noticed when I took out the internal hard drive it starts working normally again. It won't load a game, but I assume that's normal with out storage. Any advice? Edit: I have got it past the sign in screen and tried to clear the cache, but it crashed before I was able to do so.
