Hmmm, it looks like Best Buy sent me this a little early
After recently moving to a faulty Xbox One S from the PS4, I've now got my first Xbox One X!
I remember when I was 16, going to the register to buy my first xbox live gold but I was $10 short. Said sorry to the cashier and tried to leave until a random elderly lady behind me pulled out a 10 and smiled. I cried and thanked her. I still have the prepaid card to this day as a memory. (2016)
Control is now live for Gamepass!

I ordered the Sport Blue controller from GameStop and they sent me a controller made up of parts from multiple different colors

Unsure What To Do With Old Systems?

If you guys find yourselves, like me, with an Xbox One, Xbox One X or PS4 sitting next to your brand new rectangle you might be curious what you can do with it. You could sell it. Sure. You could also use it exclusively for streaming entertainment. However, I may have a better solution for you.

I spent 6 years working at a domestic violence shelter as the court advocate. If I came into one of those rare non-profit employee bonuses I usually used it to buy something cool for the kids staying at the shelter. Well, this is actually a really good opportunity for a lot of you to donate your last-gen game system that you don't use to a domestic violence or homeless shelter. If you itemize your taxes you will can use it for a charitable deduction.

The most important thing though is this is a great opportunity for your kids. Did you get your kids a new PS5 or Xbox? Show them what charity is by donating that old system to one of these shelters. You're helping out parents who probably need a break. You're helping out kids who are in a strange situation they know isn't normal. You're helping shelter staff out by providing another avenue for the residents to expend energy.

Just a thought that popped into my head as I sit here and stare at my wall of systems. Going to do some cleaning house today and run some of these guys down there.
