    I help manage a Discord server that alerts you when items like the XBOX X/S come in stock, and a user was able to get an XBOX X from Amazon but they actually sent him an extra one by mistake!

    I was already suspicious about this giveaway as the winner was being chosen on the evening of Christmas Eve, and no delivery service is guaranteeing overnight delivery due to the volume of packages, but decided to give the benefit of the doubt.

    Then, on Christmas Eve, they said the winner miraculously decided to give it to someone else. The whole point of commenting was to win the gift, and the one commenter who won out of 70,000 + supposedly decided not to take it which doesn't make sense. Even if so, they could have just chosen another comment but instead decided to create a whole new giveaway thread.

    Now they're saying the winner will get the Xbox on Christmas day when the giveaway ends at 2PM EST on Christmas Day. No delivery service offers same day delivery unless it's within 45 miles.

    This whole thing is an advertisement ploy, thus the two separate threads and the winner may be one of their own (or none at all since they aren't revealing the winner)

    Edit: Also, in the thread, they said they would help the previous winner cover same day delivery costs...??? This is implying the winner received the Xbox in an hour after the giveaway ended

    TL;DR: unsubscribe from their services if you did so. No need to mention the name

    Bought Immortal Fenyx Rising after refund Cyberpunk 2077. This game needs more attention. Good storyline, satisfying combat, beautiful open world filled with great quality contents. Can't believe Ubisoft made this quality of game.

    Thanks to this subreddit I finally joined the Xbox family. The hectic Walmart/Best Buy restock debacle was where I was able to finally get one. I hope a lot of you guys were able to get one too!

    Cyberpunk seems to be running fine now, but what's really being highlighted is just how dated the AI system is. I'd love to know why it's so bad, and who thought this was ok at CDPR?

    Cyberpunk seems to be running adequately now on my One X, but what's beginning to happen now that the game isn't suffering non stop from technical issues is just how hilariously bad and outdated the AI systems are in this game.

    You really notice it with the cop AI, but even little things. Like getting into a gun battle and people across the street from you are all squatting and cowering the same. Or the fact people don't get pushy or confrontational in public areas with you if you prompt them. It's all really becoming noticeable now and I am more curious than anything.

    Apparently this game has been worked on now for eight years, but in some instances the NPC behaviors or AI seem to act like they're from GTA:IV or even TES:Oblivion which came out in 2006.

    My question? Why is the AI so noticeably outdated and bad in this game? Who's been working on this game for EIGHT years and felt confident this was good enough? Was this just some time constraint type shit? Are developers in Poland just that much more behind everyone else when it comes to these things? Was it just willful arrogance or laziness? I don't understand. One thing's for sure, it's really jarring and weak to go from say the AI in RDR2 or even AC Valhalla to what we have in this game. Lemme be clear here with my curiosity: I'd give them a pass if the game's AI wasn't comparable to say RDR2, but it's worse in many ways than games from almost ten years ago or more.... Why? How? lol.

    Are they planning on making it better? Can they even make it better? Seems like a huge integral part of the game that they'd have to literally rip out and re-do for it to get better. Is that even possible? I'm not a game developer, but it's pretty obvious that it's sincerely dated and bad. I hope over the coming weeks and months, we get an expose or something on why these sorts of things were left the way they are in this game, does anyone else agree or find this really weird? Like, what was their hiring process for "game AI designer?" I imagine if they made this in Poland for example, maybe the cutting-edge talent pool there just isn't as good as say Japan, the US or the UK?

    Who at CDPR confidentally thought the AI was modern and great in this game?
