    Newbie to 360, can't get new HDD to show up on my slim. It's a 500gb I found on eBay for 360 slims, but the system doesn't seem to see it. Am I missing a step?

    Current 360 collection not counting digital. Still waiting for one 360 game called Deathsmiles to arrive in mail so need to count that as well when it arrives. Any other games you recommend preferably 360 exclusive? For example the Gears of War games which I have digitally already.

    So ive been wanting a 360 for a while because i wanna feel nostagia again but i never wanted to pay 100 for a used 360 but i did a little of searching on another website and i found a used 360 with only a couple of scratches on it for 4.99 the desc says it has been tested out but im worried it could arrive and have red ring of death or something btw i dont wanna post the link to the 360 as i dont want someone else to buy it as this could be a real deal i could be getting a 360 for a very cheap price

    Who has experience doin RGH on a 360? i pulled out my brothers old 360 that hasnt been used in years. i put Hen on my PS3, and i looked into doin RGH on the 360. Its a slim with the Trinity mobo. Im gonna try to do the dual Nand. like half is RGH, half retail. Anyone get any tips? i was thinkin i could either buy one for like 200 or do it myself for 100 roughly. maybe less even.

    Controller joysticks replacement

    Hi, Some days ago I bought my first 360 (wired version) controller for PC. I had never used one before. GOD DAMN, it feels so much better to use than the One controller and Series X. There's only 1 thing that bothers me and no, it's not the dpad, since it has a nice feel when pushing it instead of a shallow click like the dpad on the One controller.

    The problem is the joysticks. I knew they were harder to push and I'm not sure if it's because they are harder to push or if it's some other thing but they feel less precise. They don't seem to move smoothly when pushing them slowly to do small corrections like in racing games. I miss the precision of the One controller's joysticks. My question is:

    Since I know how to solder and de-solder, are there any joysticks I can replace the original with that have the same precision as the One's?

    Xbox 360 online services in an unsupported region/country?

    Hello. Just bought a second hand xbox 360 e. While xbox live is not the primary reason why i bought the console it would be nice to try it out. But i can't seem to create xbox live account in the right way.

    I tried making a xbox live account from the xbox itself. I checked US as a country. The M$ profile i sign in to in their website says it's US but my console still says xbox live is unsupported in your region.

    Do i need to vpn/proxy my whole traffic for this to work? Are there any easier ways?

    Unable to get games on sale on both store and console?

    For some reason for the past week I've been trying to buy the first Skate while it's on sale and across both a 360 console and browser I've been getting either "Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again." or a different error when on console that's stopping me from buying it. I know I can still buy things normally since I managed to get a game that wasn't on sale.

    Does anyone know what's possibly happening?

    Venom/ Aftermarket battery pack recommendations?

    Apologies in advance for the length of this post.

    As per title. Got a good deal on a console (without accessories) and have been slowly buying the peripherals i need. Bought some cheap controllers that came with official wireless battery packs installed (listed as non- tested, spares or repairs) however one battery pack doesn't hold any charge and another is faulty, leaving me with one working battery pack....

    Having previously owned a 360 (way back when) I can appreciate how hard it is to continually change out AA's. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for aftermarket battery packs, I have seen good reviews for the Venom docking station/ aftermarket battery packs but was wondering if anyone has had experience with them? I Can't find a reliable source for official battery packs but don't have any experience with aftermarket battery packs. it seems far cheaper to buy aftermarket.... but i'm not sure about the quality/ reliability of them. I have a Gioteck AC1 but not sure if it's compatible with aftermarket battery packs.

    Thoughts? Recommendations?, would i be better off (in the long run) with quality rechargable AA's and a decent charger?

    SSD in Xbox 360

    In the last few days ive been playing slot on my xbox and i decided that the hdd is too slow so i thought to myself that original xbox hdds use normal sata ports right? So if i buy a sata ssd will it work? (My xbox 360 S is jtagged i wrote this because from what i read in an older post there is a way if it is but it wasnt told there)
