    My DVD drive won't open, so I pulled mine apart. Still not working, and I think I'm getting a red ring. I don't think I wanna mess with it any more. I bought the original (pre-HDMI) 360 when working at CompUSA through the Microsoft store. I have...

    • Kinect
    • Some original XBOX Games
    • Hard drive

    Would like to get...

    • HDMI - I do have an adapter if need be.
    • WIFI (kind of a must, can use an adapter, but which one?)
    • Data from Hard drive

    What options do I have? Will Kinect work with all models?

    Can I transfer my drive, or at least my data?

    Where's the best place to get one? (Additional games would be a bonus) eBay? Amazon?

    Where to find an Xbox360/what kind to purchase?

    Hi, everyone!

    So I was thinking of asking for an Xbox360 for Christmas as my gift (I'm 16), but I want to be sure I find a reputable place to buy one so it doesn't break instantly/so it works for a few years. What type would be best (as in, what model), and where should I buy it, in your opinion? (None of the GameStops near me sell them anymore, and I'm skeptical of some of the ones on eBay). Also, I'd ideally need a refurbished one or a used one because our budget is about $170, so some of the in-box Amazon ones are out of the price range unfortunately.

    I've heard of a lot of Xbox360s breaking, so is it a concern if I buy a used one? Or will it probably last a few years?

    Should I sale my 360?

    So I've been wanting a switch since it was first announced back in 2016.

    I've been itching to get one for a while now but I don't have a job or anything.

    Would selling my 360 to buy a switch be a good idea? Or would keeping it be a better value?

    I could always re buy a 360 later I guess.

    Xbox live only on one account out of 2?

    Xbox 360 Button Remapping?

    Hey guys, whats up!! I got a very conservated Xbox 360 RGH, and i want to find a way to remap the buttons to play Rise of the Tomb Raider. They dont followed the previous game buttons setup and placed the ''Instinct'' feature on RS button!! This button get fucked easily and i dont want to mess up my controller, since you have to call the ''instinct'' feature all the time to find things in the game. I found a homebrew called XPRemap 2.0, that does the work (i guess) but i cant find it anywhere! Some tip?? Ill appreciate that.

    I want to RGH my Xbox 360 Slim but I don't want to lose Xbox Live, is there a way?

    As the title says, I wish to RGH my console but as far as I know if you RGH your console you are forced to use a different dashboard (Aurora or something) instead of the original dashboard and you lose all the Xbox Live capacities such as online play and be able to enter the store or use the apps like Netflix and Internet Explorer.

    I've heard there's a thing called "dual boot" where you install in your xbox 360 phisically, some kind of switch. If you turn on the switch, it makes the 360 boot in RGH,and if you turn off, the 360 boots normally in the original dashboard and xbox live. But I don't know if what I just said exists, I heard from a friend a long time ago.

    Also, I think I should crosspost this to r/360hacks later.
