    Xbox 360 Slim Will Not Play Original Games

    I have a Xbox 360 hard drive for the Slim. However I tried playing with 2 games (GTA VC and GTA SA) both say the same error of "This Xbox Original Game is not compatible with your Xbox 360 console" despite being listed as Backward Compatible games. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

    Trouble connecting old 360 to HDMI TV

    Hey all. I have an old Xbox 360 (circa 2006) that I have been unable to play on my Samsung Smart TV. The 360 does not have an hdmi port, and the TV does not have ports for RCA audio and video (red, white, and yellow chords). I bought an RCA to HDMI converter, but it didn't work. I'm wondering if I need a better converter, or if this is a lost cause. Has anyone successfully hooked up an old 360 to an hdmi tv, and if so, how? Thanks!

    I had recently got a free 250gb hardrive with a load of games and profiles and i had tried to play one of the games

    To which i then get the message "cant launch "game title"". Is there any way for me to be able to play said games or should i just wipe the hard drive?

    I recently knocked the dust off my 360 console, and the 120gb seems slow to load. I have recently purchased a slim model w/ 250gb hdd off of Marketplace, but was curious if there is an easier way to see what all DLC I have purchased outside of doing a 1:1 comparison of games listed in my save files?

    HDMI to VGA adapter experience?

    Hello, i have an old LCD 19" monitor (resolution 1366x768) with only VGA input. And i am using HDMI cable from my xbox to my TV. I would like to ask your opinion on these cheap passive HDMI to VGA convertors from ebay. Is there a lost in quality (colors, refresh rate etc...)? Does anyone have an experience with this? Especially helpful would be if anyone having the same monitor trying both inputs (HDMI, and HDMI to VGA). From what i found, it is mostly noticeable only with higher resolutions (which is not the case with my LCD monitor). If you have any experience, it would help me a lot. Thanks.

    Does xbox 360 require my controller be directly in front of console to work?

    I have limited space in my downstairs man cave. I want to put my console in a cabin about 90 degrees to my right. Want an opinion on if my controller would still work if I did, it will take a little work to get it setup so anyone's experience with this is greatly appreciated

    Trying to figure out what's happened to games I've purchased years ago

    In anticipation for my series X arriving I fired up old 360 to see what I have on my old console. Having skipped the Xbox one I've been out the loop on the platform for a while so there is alot I've forgotten. I was looking through my old digital games thinking of redownloading a few to relive my late teens only to find that the store page is asking me to purchase them again. I'm certain I've already bought the likes of Lumenis Live Doom and Cloning Clyde because I've got achievements for them but alas Xbox seems to think otherwise. Now I do know that I've shifted my account region in the past having moved countries, would this affect the license I owned for those games if I bought them under a different region?

    It's been so long I simply can't remember. Any ideas would be appreciated.
