    At the start of the Xbox One generation I'm sure we all remember how terrible of a position the brand was in. Don Mattrick and Co. were seriously a terrible piece of the Xbox brand and quite literally left it in ruins.

    I'd like to thank Phil Spencer for dragging Xbox out of the hole it was in and putting the ultimate focus back on games. While the exclusives were lackluster this generation, he made the moves to buff up the first party studios, and invest heavily in game pass. Because of this, we now have a lot to look forward to as Xbox fans.

    I'm super excited for next generation, and it's largely thanks to Phil.

    Xbox July Show Prediction

    It seems like Microsoft is trying to have an exclusive for every game genre at their show.

    For example: - they have a shooter (Halo), - they have a racer (Forza), - they have a sandbox? (Everwild), - they have action adventures (Hellblade 2 & The Initiative's Game) - they have a RPG (Playground Games' rumored Fable reboot) - they have horror (Project MARA) - they even have a simulator (Microsoft Flight Simulator)

    However the following genres are missing: Fighters, Platformers, JRPGs, MMOs, 3rd person shooters.

    So my prediction is that I think we will see these genres at the show meaning there's about 5 more exclusives we've yet to seen.

    Here's what happens when I click sign in. It doesn't send me anywhere, it just shows that border around it when I click.

    So I go to sign in on the Microsoft website. Oh, I'm already signed in. Let's check back at the Xbox website.

    I'm still not signed in.

    I check my profile under the 'My Xbox' dropdown on the main page. It sends me to this page.

    Is it trying to tell me to update my privacy settings? I cant! Because going to the Xbox privacy page on my Microsoft account's privacy settings sends me back to that fucking page!

    Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    My xbox recording is what i consider broken, can anyone relate to these issues and can anyone tell me how to fix this ?

    So here are the several problems

    • when i hit "start recording" , it doesnt actually capture the whole 10 minutes, it makes the notification but it comes out a messed up capture

    • my captures have no audio

    • when i hit "record what just happened" it doesn't do that, it records something else random as if theres a delay

    • the notification for captures keeps popping up more than the one time i choose to record

    Heres what ive done to try and fix

    • Restart xbox via holding the guide button

    • Delete a bunch of captures from over the years

    • Restarting xbox via clearing DNS cache

    • Ask reddit

    I hope one of you guys can help, and that the angry dude who always has to downvote a post or find any issue, finds love one day and changes for the better

    I have a problem with my account

    So I open the Xbox app on my pc and sign in with my normal account. When I do so it shows a old gamertag I used to use on my Xbox 360, i found this weird because I have long since changed that gamertag. I go to settings and press change gamertag. It takes to out of the app and to chrome. In chrome I'm on the page and it shows the gamertag I have already changed to, in a game it shows the old gamertag. I start up my old Xbox 360 and look and find the old username but when I press it I get a message saying I have to download the profile again from Xbox live. I do so and use the email and pass connected to that account but then it works but shows a whole new profile but with the new username and the old one separate still saying I need to download it from Xbox live. I have spent an hour trying different things like Xbox support but no luck. Maybe one of you has a solution.

    Playing Xbox from your dual monitor setup

    Recently I moved my xbox to my computer monitor and was having trouble with audio since my monitor doesn't have integral speakers so I figured I'd give some advice for what to do if you're in the same situation

    1. If on a newer controller you can use headphones by plugging directly in, I plug my controller into a speaker so that it THINKS it's headphones and therefore plays audio. This is a pain due to the wire

    2. Stream-with good WiFi you can stream to your actual computer seemlessly with minimal lag. I messed around with this for a while but I realized something else

    3. Stream, minimize your tab, and just only look at the monitor connected to your console. You'll get the audio, but not the visual lag from streaming

    Not sure how many of you play on a monitor next to a computer but it was a pain of the ass trying to figure out how to get audio at first. I needed to look for headphones when all the headphones I use are bluetooth, I purchased an aux cord for my speaker, etc. but ultimately I'm happiest using my computers speaker and streaming the audio through it

    Backward compability

    Hi i was a proud owner of an Xbox 360 and this gen i jumped to PC, I want to come back for the seriesX and have a few things i want to know better.

    -Does the seriesX read all the Xone games in Cds? The Xbox360 ones to?

    -I lost my Microsoft account but made a new one, can i buy digital Xone games in a new acount and have them there to play when the console comes out?

    For example: Can i buy an anthem digital code and claim it on the Xbox web, then when the seris X comes i log in with this account and download the anthem and play it on Xbox series X. Thanks and sorry for the bad english its hard to find any info in Spain regarding Xbox

    Xbox owners: What’s your Gamerscore?

    I always see videos on YouTube and stuff about people hitting 100K and I see some threads here from time to time and I was wondering, how common is this?

    I've had an Xbox 360 since like 2006 when achievements started and I have an Xbox One and have played a ton of games and I'm still around 20K. Granted I have a PS3 and PS4 so I play some games on that but even if I had all multi platform games on Xbox I don't think it'd be that much higher.

    Am I just not achievement hunting hard enough? Do you guys play though easy games that are just easy 1000/1000? How do so many people have such high Gamerscore? If any of you have 100K or anything really high, can you post your gamer tag?

    How come there’s no petition or huge boycott on NBA 2K21 being $70 for next gen?

    This is really really bad and terrible. Games should and always remain at $40-$60 for just the game. It's always been like that. But making it so a game is $70 is such BS. We have to stop this or doing something because if people buy this game and sales show this will encourage other game devs to also increase the price of their game to $70. It's also crazy how people defend this excuse for corporate greed and micro transaction fueled game.

    It scares me there's not really a huge reactions to this except for a few Reddit posts but they don't get enough attention for it to cause some kind of media backlash or something. Is this going to actually happen and not a lot of people are doing anything about this?

    Idk guys but this really scares me and I'm sure a lot of people. I just want some kind of huge boycott that gets enough recognition to be on the media.
