    Hi all, I need help figuring out how to reformat an external hard drive so that it can download games through the Microsoft and Xbox Beta app on my PC. I am using a Toshiba 3 TB with USB 3.0 and USB 3.0 ULTRA-RAPID (whatever that means).

    hello,

    I am searching the title of a game i used to play when I was younger,it was set in a medieval-fantasy setting during a war between humanity and the Evil (demons-like enemies).

    you could choose between the evil and the good side,most importantly you were tasked with leading a platoon with third person view,when you fought an enemy platoon you assumed the role of the commander,whom you could only play as while when you were not fighting you could lead the entirity of the battalion . You could improve your battalion and change its template.the easy mode was about siding with humans while the hard mode was about siding with evil.

    the game should have been made between 2005-2009.

    thank to everyone that could help me play a game that made my childhood. :)

    Cyberpunk 2077 Delayed To September

    I recently got a new wired controller and once i plug it in the 4 indicators begin flashing like they are supposed to but do not stop. i am wondering if this is supposed to be happening or how i could potentially fix this

    like i said i recently got a cheap xbox controller and cannot figure out how to stop the indicators from flashing constantly.     Some games are literally unplayable with controller vibration, why won't mine turn off?

    Yes I've followed all the simple 3 step instructions, no it doesn't work, I go back in game and vibration still, I restart, double check, it's off, but yep still vibrating in game. I don't know why this fucking gimmick from N64 became a "thing" that comes standard but I fucking hate it.

    Xbox one shutting down

    Hey I was wondering if anyone can help me . I have the og Xbox one worked fine for the the past 4 years but as soon as modern warfare launched it shuts off as soon as I start the game . I have cleaned the entire console applied new thermal paste . Netflix and YouTube work fine but as soon as I load up modern warfare it shuts off 5-10 secs after start happens for Witcher 3 as well but not for nba 2k Please help

    Doesn't matter what game we play, this has always happened between us. We've gone through the normal troubleshooting stuff to no avail. We always check that the NAT type is set to open. We've tried wired connections, wireless connections, her on the 2.4 GHz me on the 5GHz etc etc. We've been playing MCC together lately, and normally we can get in a game or two and then not be able to play together for the rest of the night. Am I missing something here? I just want to finally have to something to point to that could explain this issue. Are we stuck to playing split screen forever?

    So if you're in a party and you're the party leader and you wanna show your squad a banger I think you should be able to search YouTube and play it to the party. The only way you would be able to play it is that the party leader would either give permission to someone or do it themselves and they can show the screen if they want. The party members could choose to see it or listen to it.

    Purchase advice - Looking to buy a One S

    Hello /r/xbox, I am wondering if I am about to make a bad decision. I have NEVER owned an xbox since the original black coffin from the early 2000's. Now I did some research, the One S has 2 versions, the newer digital and the earlier one S which is basically a better version of the day 1 release. I do not like digital only and have DVD's I would like to play so I went looking and found a refurbrished one S for 182.22 CAD on ebay by a seller who is partnered with walmart and sells hundreds of them [IDK if I say their name if I am allowed] Anyways, is buying refurb a bad idea? Is that price fair? Its hard to tell because I know so little. I plan on playing skyrim special edition with some of the community ported mods and some couch multi-player with the family. Thanks in advance guys!

    Update 1: Messaged seller asking if it would be possible to order a console that had only suffered minor surface / external damage before being refurbished. Awaiting reply!

    update 2: I got my response! [I also asked about what state they are in before refurb (is it a clean up / touch up or full blown surgery) ]

    Well that did not directly answer my question nor did they tell me if I could order one with the history I wanted, this email felt more like an automated response if anything as it did not really adress my concerns.     note: they do not list any grading on the actual page where the consoles are being sold. I don't know if I would be buying grade A or B...

    Can you install a bluetooth driver to Xbox One?

    I have this usb bluetooth adapter and I was wondering if there was a way to install the correct drivers onto the xbox so when I plug it in I can connect my bluetooth headphones/airpods/speaker whatever...
