    I would like to start off by saying that I know there might be certain aspects in this post that possibly may break sub-rules, but I feel as if doing so might draw the attention of the moderators more quicker a few hours and/or days.

    The community of r/XboxOne has been absolutely great. I have connected with plenty of people, received my first gold award, won a couple giveaways, and even had the opportunity of hosting giveaways all within a few months of becoming a member. For all that, I am truly grateful for. Sadly, although the members seem to be a positive aspect of this community, the moderators appear to not.

    I have noticed an increasing amount of issues occurring in this sub:

    • No Maintenance of Sub
    • No Giveaway Verification
    • No Minimum Karma Requirement
    • No Rule Enforcement
    • No Response to Reports

    In most other subs, there is an 'AutoModerator' in place to prevent red-flag questions, comments, or posts. Unfortunately, this community does not appear to have any of these measures in place. The lack of such parameters leads to a multitude of issues.

    Accounts with -3 karma are able to leave comments, post, and even host giveaways all without verification. Many low karma accounts are only active in this community to enter every giveaway they can see. Posts and users that clearly violate the rules of the sub are left unattended to for extended periods of time. All issues the moderators have not began to fix.

    To place this on a more personal level, I hosted a giveaway a while back. A certain user entered that giveaway, PM'd me, begged me, the whole nine yards for me to give him the code over 200 other applicants, but I insisted that it would be completely random. To this day the user has decided to comment on every post I have made and/or comment in this community urging people to not believe a single word I say. I, of course tried to rationalize with this individual and when that failed, blocked and reported his account to the moderators.

    Weeks later, and many spam accounts created by that user to continue to harass me, the issue still persists and they returned to their original account.

    All of the issues (and possibly more) has caused the community to break apart.

    I am asking on the behalf of members that care about the direction of the community, please act on these issues and engage with us in an effective manner.

    EDIT: Honestly I'm disappointed that the mods has left behavior like this go on and hasn't done a single thing about the reports being made...

    Not even PvP games but like some co-op PvE

    Just generally

    Games that require the most teamwork seem to really dislike new and returning players

    Best advice that was given was "get good and come back when you KNOW what your doing"

    Picked up and finished Nier: Automata since it was on Gamepass. Not sure what I was expecting, but it sure as hell wasn't an existential crisis (Major Spoilers)

    I would say to anyone reading this post, I would recommend giving this a try if you like action slashers, but be warned, I can feel pretty tedious at some points. I understand those moments are meant to reinforce the overall theme and meta of the game, but I can't lie and say it wasn't a slog to go through.

    SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT FORWARD: I'm on my phone, so I don't know how to black bar spoilers.

    I knew absolutely nothing about this game other then it was from Platinum Games, and it inspired a lot of rule34. I just got, from what I read the true ending, which is "E" and I haven't felt this emotionally exhausted in ages. I guess it is kinda, sorta, a happy ending...? Since one of the core ideas around the end is hope for a brighter future, but God damn it fucking hurt to get there, haha. I'm assuming Project Gestalt is from the games predecessors, so excuse me while I do some googling.

    XB1X cd loader issues

    My toddler might have put something in the CD slot of the Xbox... Every time I turn on the system it makes a ticking noise from the CD slot. Are the 1X easy to take apart? Any recommendations are appreciated and I can upload a video if someone requests it. Thank you

    When you have finished the game about 5 - 6 times (which is totally worth it) you get a shop where you can buy all the achievements you havnt unlocked yet.

    I've never seen anything like this in other games before.

    Replacing thermal paste surprisingly easy

    So my Scorpio editions fan suddenly started screaming like a jet engine when I would play a game and would occasionally shut off and give me the overheating notice after I turned it back on. I just ordered some arctic mx-4 thermal paste. Then I busted out the tools , isopropyl alcohol and one do it yourself YouTube video later it is absolutely silent again. Very easy to take apart and put back together.

    Black Screen After First Week

    Bought an Xbox One X a week ago. Been using it for maybe 1 to 3 hours a day and last night while playing warzone the xbox crashed. I waited and turned in on and off. Since then the xbox will not start up properly only displaying a black screen. I have tried hard resets and everything else I have found online.

    Is this a common issue with the Xbox One X? My younger brother has owned an Xbox One for years now and never had issues, but seen a lot of xbox one x owners talking about having to send their one x for service multiple times.

    Loud Grinding Xbox Noise

    Recently my Xbox (day one) gets really loud and heats up when I turn it on and I don't know what to do.

    Currently the fan has stopped and I notice that this problem maybe only happens when I plug my phone up to charge it.

    This has been happening for the past 3 days and I've tried solutions such as taking it apart and getting out all the dust from every single vent just for it to get loud again. After doing that I would let it rest and get cold only for it to still get loud.

    According to the internet and my circumstances I can either beat the life out of it or buy a new fan

    What should I do?

    Edit: My Xbox still gets loud even when it's not hot.

    Survival/exploration game recommendations

    Like the title says, I just recently played Subnautica for the first time and I'm absolutely loving it. I'm gonna download Journey to the Savage Planet tomorrow when it hits Game Pass and may pick up No Mans Sky while it's on sale. Was just wondering if NMS was worth getting? And what other great survival/exploration titles I might be missing out on as I'm new(er) to the genre. Thanks!

    Xbox Series 2 Elite Controller Trigger Lock Came Off? (Online support not working for me currently)

    So my trigger lock just came off my controller. I keep my trigger locked so it's not like I move it all the time or anything. Controller is in warranty (bought it around the holidays).
