    My friend has a year of gold he bought on Christmas for a year but he's wondering if he buys Gamepass Ultimate will it just get rid of his gold cause when he clicks Gamepass Ultimate it says:

    "Joining Xbox Gamepass Ultimate will upgrade your remaining xbox live gold, xbox gamepass or ea play membership into xbox gamepass ultimate at the current conversion ratio, up to 36 months (anytime over 36 months will be lost). Note that all conversions are final, and the conversion ratio is subject to change."

    (he basically wants to know what it will do to his gold)

    New XBOX user, game recommendations for a 7yr old

    Hi, I bought XBOX S for my 7 yr old son. I have never used Xbox or any played any games before. Do you have any recommendations for games that are great ( no shooting games). He says his friends play Roblox and Mario Kart. Any other family games? Are there free games that are good.

    I made and ordered 2 controllers about 2 years ago which had a blue digital camo and a red to black shadow effect and I haven't used the design lab since. What happened to these designs? Were they removed?

    Specific benefits of different versions of Xbox Game Pass?

    I am thinking about buying XBox Series S because the "Netflix of Games" subscription model seems interesting to me. I am older gamer and I don't need to play the latest game releases. There are many games in the XBox Game Pass library which I know are good and I've never played them.

    However, my main question is:

    Should I go for the "Ultimate Game Pass" or "Console Game Pass"?

    You see, I have several computers at home but none of them run Windows (and none of them will ever run Windows). So the "Windows Games Library" is useless to me. However, if I understand it correctly, the "Ultimate pass" will provide me with ability to play more games than "Console pass" and it will also allow me to stream some (older) games to my Android / Chromebook. Is that correct? I am specifically interested in the games library difference between "Console pass" and "Ultimate pass" (apart from the EA Play subscription included in the "Ultimate pass").

    Also, can I play an XBox game on the console while my wife streams another XBox game to her Android (both under the same account)?

    controller help

    Hi, I need some help. A friend gave me their old Xbox one a year ago and I've just played with the controller they gave me ever since. Recently the adapter has stopped working so I can't connect headset. I'm not really good at this kind of stuff. I don't know wether I should buy a new controller or new adapter or what as the controller is getting pretty bad too. When I tried my headset in their series x controller I couldn't get the volume up loud enough, can someone explain why this is? If I'm getting a new controller I just want to make sure I get one that's compatible. … sorry if this is a stupid question I'm not sure

    Xbox 360 Power Supply Overheating

    So my old 360 slim has been working for like an hour then just turning off. I suspect it is the power supply as the light turns red before it turns off and it is molten when this happens. Anyone got ideas?

    Playing on Xbox one x. Went a bit ocd over red dead 2 so far and don't even know what looks normal anymore. I know given the not so great hdr on this game it's probably not the best to test the monitor on.

    Xbox pc app crashes seconds after start

    Power button flashing

    Anyone else on there Xbox one have a problem where the power button just flashes? Everything is working fine controller is good power supply is good no updates it just flashes still able to play and all just wanted to see if anyone else had an issue like this

    Gamertag Issue

    For the past 3 days i've been trying to change my name on Xbox and every time I go to do it, the message "Sorry, something went wrong. Try your gamer tag again" Is this happening for anyone else?

    Xbox One X won’t power on

    Last week I turned on my Xbox One X Console and it powered on but there was no signal to the tv. I held down the power button for 10 sec and rebooted it and still no signal to the tv. I unplugged it for an hour and plugged it back in and now it won't turn on. Have tried all the different tips on the Xbox website.

    I wanted everyones thoughts on what they think is wrong with it. Power supply? Hard drive failure? Motherboard? I would like to buy a new power supply or hard drive and open it up and replace it myself as opposed to buying a new console but don't want to buy a hard drive and a power supply if its one or the other. Thanks!

    The feature used to work but now it says "you have signed out, returning to the title menu" is the feature not supposed to work or something? I know some games have it disabled.

    It's getting pretty ridiculous.. I got a brand new controller and it started to drift only 2 weeks after I started using it. I now own more controllers with drift than without.

    Are there any shops that fix these issues? I would imagine with it being such a big problem that people would be trying to sell repair services to capitalize on it.. Or maybe upgrades?

    Are there any controllers that feel good and don't have cheap thumbsticks? I'm truly tired of forking over $60 every month or two because microsoft uses cheap parts for their controllers.

    "I swear" all in one Xbox ad is so much fun. I adore how Xbox has pulled a full 180 since the beginning of Xbox one. They are having a blast over there lol.

    It's so fun to see Xbox have so much fun themselves, with the fridge and the memes and the kick ass self aware ads.

    Of course, they are just trying to sell you stuff. I'm aware of that. But still. It's better than having a company be so stuck up, so far up their own butt, and take themselves too seriously.

    They've really been engaging with the community and listening to feedback. I actually think they need more credit than they've been getting.

    It does suck that they have this uphill battle to climb no matter how well they do, because of how extremely partisian even gaming has become. People either adore Xbox and worship the ground they walk on and hate playstation, or playstation fans make it their life mission to trash Xbox whenever they can, for whatever they can and defend Sony at all costs. Cough Modern vintage gamer cough. Just the nature of social media and gaming communities now. For individual game series as well. Either adore the new ac games, or hate everything they stand for, stuff like that.

    And since the majority of people became Sony fans after Xbox made a complete fool out of themselves at the beginning of the Xbox ones life, more people are going to be desperately trashing Xbox and praying to the playstation over lords.

    What bugs me about it all, is I own all the systems. No ps5 yet, but ps4 and switch and series x. I would love Sony and Nintendo to REALLY up their game with consumer friendliness and not nickle and diming people.... Looking at you paid next gen upgrades that would be free on Xbox for FIRST party games, ghost of Tsushima and spiderman ps4. And hopefully Xbox can start taking japenese games seriously. Losing final fantasy 16 and still not having a port of final fantasy 7 remake even after the excluisvity expired is a HUGE mistake.

    Anyway, on a positive note, I'm having a ton of fun with Microsoft's marketing and community outreach. I hope everyone else is taking notes.

    I'm buying an Xbox 360 to play skate 3. I bought skate 3 digitally on the Xbox one (backwards compatible) will the game still be on the Xbox 360 if I use the same account?
