• My first Xbox one controller which has lasted me 4 years has finally been run down and can’t be used I will remember these last 4 years of joy it gave me

Everyone has to put themselves in Microsoft’s shoes right now. Posted: 20 Mar 2020 05:06 PM PDT As many of you are aware, Xbox servers have been struggling for the past couple of weeks. It's frustrating for all of us, but we have to understand that this isn't due to Microsoft having sh*tty servers, it's due to current COVID-19 outbreak. Currently, millions of people are quarantining themselves to protect themselves from the virus, and those who play xbox, are likely doing a lot of gaming during these rough times. An over use of the servers by millions of users is straining for a software company, but there's another catch. Microsoft's IT headquarters is located in a hotspot for COVID-19. This means that they're cutting down on labor to decrease the risk of the spread of the virus within their facilities. Also, many people who work for Microsoft IT are either working from home, or not working at all. The combination of these two factors - Millions of users online at any given time, and the lack of tech support on microsoft's end - is resulting in servers crashing very frequently. So, next time this happens, please try to not get angry at Microsoft. They're trying to keep their employees safe while at the same time providing for their customers. Instead be grateful for the few people working their asses off to help us game! Alright, I just wanted to spread my point around. Posted: 20 Mar 2020 06:45 PM PDT I feel like this situation of the servers going down is gonna become a regular thing, so instead of spending all that time complaining (not saying you dont have a right to be annoyed, it's just that complaining about it to each other will probably make us more pissed off) we could all come together to have chats on different topics, or set up some sort of game we could play (someone else is gonna have to come up with game ideas cos I'm too tired for that right now). I'm just so bored right now and wants to be communicating with people, and I'm sure there will be people who feel the same way, so I dont see the harm in what I've suggested becoming a thing.
